EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST JULY 2012 PRODUCT OVERVIEW PRE-INSULATED PIPING SYSTEM
CALPEX a brand of Brugg Pipesystems is a high-quality plastic low temperature system for supplying service water and heat: flexible, self-compensating, lightweight and corrosion resistant. The advanced insulation technology with polyurethane foam and the sustainability of the system make CALPEX a long-lasting solution. CALPEX can be laid out in a quick and uncomplicated way, and remains operational for decades: an investment that more than pays for itself in the long term. CALPEX for heating: Lambda 0.0216 W/mK The quality of a low temperature system lies in the heat insulation. The insulation of the CALPEX tubes consists of fine-pored polyurethane foam that is blown using pentane. With a low volume and thin insulation, this achieves an excellent Lambda value of 0.0216 W/mK. The low heat loss saves heating costs* and reduces energy consumption over the long term. CALPEX is the best insulated pipe available on the market. CALPEX is a fully bonded system: the material compound retains its sealing effect Water ingress is hardly worth thinking about with CALPEX because a bond is created between the inner tube and the insulating foam with the CALPEX system. Should the tube be damaged by outside influences, no cavities in which water can collect and flow in the direction of the building will appear. Fully bonded systems require no expansion measures.

The newly developed T-shell is the perfect protection for branches. CALPEX saves time and money T-assembly The fewer connections a pipe system has, the better. Each connection that can be dispensed with reduces the amount of routing, keeps costs down and increases the reliability of the system during operation. CALPEX is supplied as an endless product in rings and can be unrolled like a hose when being laid. Obstacles can therefore be elegantly avoided without complicated corner connections. NEW and sophisticated: the CALPEX Clip T-shell The newly developed T-shell is the perfect protection for branches. Fitted fast and easy by using snap-on clamps and filled with insulating pentane polyurethane foam on site. ****Savings based ****Estimated Dom ****Estimated Com

CALPEX tubes circumvent all existing gas, water, electrical and waste water pipes as if they weren t there. It s better to go round a bend than spend all your time welding The flexibility of CALPEX prevents time-consuming and expensive on-site installation work. Fittings Pipe Layout NEW for reliable connections: electric welding sleeve Easy to move, quick to route The new electric welding sleeve and the wide range of the brass fittings provide 100% tightness. For below ground connections, press fittings are recommended. The CALPEX pipe system is light and mobile. A shallow trench is all that is needed for laying. Cut to Length Service Available in any length. Cut to measure from our in-house decoiling facility.
