Training Authorised Gas Tester Level 1 The two-day course is designed to equip the participants with comprehensive knowledge and the practical skills necessary for clearance measurements before confined space entry operations. It covers the characteristics of ox-, tox- and ex-hazards. Basic Information Learning objectives This course is designed to provide the delegates with the knowledge and competencies required to carry out gas testing of atmospheres in confined spaces for pre-entry and on an ongoing basis. To provide those personnel preparing for a gas tester role with the knowledge to safely conduct gas tests for oxygen levels, flammable and toxic gases. In addition, this course also equips the delegates with the knowledge necessary to conduct gas testing within confined spaces and an awareness of associated confined space hazards. ISO 9001 Related Trainings Authorised Gas Tester Level 2 The main focus of this training is to monitor flammable substances. Participants learn how to safely conduct gas testing in preparation for hot works. Also part of the agenda: regulatory and organizational requirements as well as interpretation and documentation of the results. Authorised Gas Tester Level 3 The training will deepen the knowledge of gas testers involved in providing safety watch duties by the ongoing monitoring of a hot work site. It covers all relevant information on flammable gases focusing on the principles and practice of gas testing during hot work.
04 Authorised Gas Tester Level 1 Related Trainings Confined Space Entry The hands-on simulation-based training prepares workers for entry into confined spaces and containers. Participants acquire all knowledge required to perform CSE work safely and efficiently. Special attention is given to gas measurement, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures. Confined Space Entry Rescue When incidents occur in confined spaces, specialised knowledge is needed. Our realistic CSE rescue training combines concise knowledge with lots of practical exercises. The participants learn to perform CSE operations safely, make the right decisions in emergencies, and intervene with competence. Basic H 2 S Training This H 2 S Training gives an overview about the emergency response competency requirements for personnel working in potential H 2 S environments. It covers the characteristics and the potential physiological effects of H 2 S exposure as well as the use of detection equipment and compressed air devices.
