Major Ongoing Public Sector Development Projects in the Vicinity New Islamabad International Airport It is about 5km away from the Project site of B-17 and 2km from F-17. th It was inaugurated on 7 April, 2007 by the then President of Pakistan. Test flights have th landed on 15 March, 2012 and the Airport is likely to become functional in 2015. Construction of Margalla Avenue B-17 and F-17 Scheme are centrally located in Zone-II. Travel time from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Wah Cantt and Hassanabdal will be about 15 to 20 mints especially on implementation of the following projects: I. Margalla Avenue from Sector D-12 to B-17, GT Road (600 ft ROW). rd Inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan on 23 May, 2012 and is likely to complete in current year.
