Hygiene Rotary Filler and Capper The Principle Function: The highly flexible Hygiene Rotary Filling and Closing Machine, from the Series AFR, is designed for a very high hygienic standard and provides sensitive filled and capped products with a long shelf-life. The AFR series machines are available with an output speed of between 1000 and 6000 containers per hour, depending upon the product s; volume, bottle size, bottle shape, and the head space inside the filled container. Product Feeding Tank The stations are designed with high flexibility and all functions are fully servo driven, pneumatic driven, frequency controlled, motor driven, and controlled from the control panel. Filling Machine Features: Machine Frame: The high hygienic machine frame is one of the most important parts of the filler. The machine table is built with a bevelled surface to prevent standing, wash water. If the surface is not drained well, or dried quickly, microorganisms can grow in the water. These microorganisms can contaminate the product and will shorten the shelf life of the product. The table is fully welded for preventing penetration of cleaning water into the machine base (machine foot). Door covers The doors are made from tempered glass, adhered into a stainless steel frame. Glass doors can never be electrostatically charged, unlike polycarbonate doors. An electrostatic current on a polycarbonate door causes unsterile dirt to cling to the door when opening. On closing these doors, unsterile dust will be shaken into the clean, filling machine and will contaminate the entire filling area. By using tempered glass, the filling area is protected from being contaminated in this way.
Dosing Unit The high hygiene servo driven dosing unit is designed to fill highly sensitive and viscose products. The unit is fully controllable from the filling machine controller. The dosing unit can be equipped with a pressure tank up to 2 bar. Cleaning the dosing unit can be made fully automatic. The dosing unit is also available as an internal unit. Filling Unit The High Clean Filling Nozzles are designed for hygiene-sensitive products. The filling nozzles are equipped with a Seal Back Space Cleaning System. This system can also be pressurized during the filling process to keep the nozzle shaft sterile by opening and closing the nozzle. The filling nozzles can be cleaned without dismantling, from a CIP Station / Unit or any other CIP Supply Unit. Capping Unit The capping unit is built and designed d to align, sterilize (optional), and screw the caps on to the bottles. The location of the caps is made with a round orientation unit or with a orientation conveyor. Sterilizing the caps can be integrated into the cap slide, with ozone gas. The cap screwing unit is made with a magnetic, torque-limited, gear motor, or with a servo-driven spindle. All the parameters are adjustable from the controller of the filling machine. Clean Air Unit The clean air in the filling area is very important for filling products with no preservatives. The filter housing is built from stainless steel and protects the filter from wash water. If wash water comes in contact with the filter, the filter will be damaged and mold or other microorganisms will grow in the filter and contaminate both the product and filling area.
Linear Bottle Accumulation Table The Linear Bottle Accumulation Table is designed and built for two applications: Feeding bottles into the filler Receiving bottles from the filler. Cap / Lid Elevator The Cap / Lid Elevator transports the lids into the cap orientation unit. The elevator is available with two transportation conveyors for two different cap colors.
