How to Use the Fridge Correctly Cold Chamber The food stored in a short term or eaten in no time shall be put in the cold chamber, where the temperature is 0-10 approximately. Although it can restrict bacteria from reproduction, it is improper to store food in the cold chamber for long. The cooked food shall be put in the cold chamber after it is cooled to the room temperature. It is better to airproof food before refrigeration. Moisture on vegetables, before refreshing, must be cleared. Otherwise, their rotting will be expedited in the box which contains moisture. Vegetables, if wrapped, can be stored longer.

Freezer Chamber Usually, the temperature of the freezer chamber is below -18. It is best to put the food, if stored for a long time, in this chamber. Quick frozen food shall be stored in this chamber as quickly as possible when it is not unfrozen. Hot food must be cooled to the room temperature before being put into this chamber. It is prohibited to put fruits, vegetables and glass container with liquid therein into this chamber, or they will be frozen off or explode. Frozen food shall be classified with the same type put together, which can prevent the door from being unnecessarily opened in a long time and, as a result, save energy. Freezer Drawer Large-pieced meat shall be cut into small pieces before freezing, if necessary, to facilitate cooking. If taking out the drawer, please pull out forward and then raise it slightly upward. If you want to put the bigger food into freezer, you will be allowed to take out the top three drawers from the freezer, and put the food on the glass plate. Note: After using the freezer chamber, please close the drawer and then shut off its door. Ice-Making Box(If the product contains ice-making Box) It is used to make ice block by putting cooled boiled water equal to 4/5 of the volume in the freezer chamber for a few hours. Twist the ice box to separate ice block from the box, but don t bend it to avoid fracture. Thermostat Thermostat knobe is to be used to adjust the temperature of the fridge chamber. In the same ambient temperature, the knobe digit the bigger, the temperature of the fridge chamber the lower; the smaller the knobe digit, the higher the temperature of the fridge chamber. Digit 0 indicate the compressor stop working. When the compressor run overtime or there is big ice cube in cold chamber,

you chould turn the knob to the smaller digit. When the temperature in the fridge is high and the food in the fridge is not fresh in shorter time, you should turn the knob to the bigger digit. Normally, we suggest you turn the knob to the digit 3. Note: the digit on knob represent graduation, do not represent the chamber temperature. Attention Please don t detach or repair the fridge. Please replace accessories at the maintenance office designated by the manufacturer. Please use standard 3-hole power socket above 10A, which shall be grounded well. Please don t use inflammable solvent near the fridge to avoid fire. Please don t put inflammable, explosive, volatile and/or strongly-corrosive substances in the fridge to avoid damage or fire. Please don t put liquid bottle or closed container in the fridge to avoid explosion or damage. Please don t let children get into or climb the fridge to avoid injuring or prevent it from falling down to injure them. Please don t put weights on the top of the fridge, for they may fall down when closing the door. Please don t put too much food in the fridge. Please avoid opening the door long or frequently, which would lower the overall efficiency and increase the running load.

When the fridge runs abnormally or is damaged, please shut off the power supply and notify the local service center. Please splash water onto the top and rear of the fridge, which would lower the insulation. Note: This fridge is designed for household purpose, only suitable for storing food, not for other purposes, such as blood, medicine or biological product, etc. Maintenance Defrost Before defrost, please take off the power cord. Then open the freezer door, remove the food, drawer and ice-box all things out from the freezer, waiting for defrosting; if you want to accelerate defrost, put a cup of hot water (about 50 ) in the freezer. Cleaning the water come from defrost with dry soft cloth. Do not defrost with metal tools and electric heater, otherwise damage the fridge possibly. If there is heavy frost, please defrost in time, otherwise weaken the cooling. In general, you need defrost once per three month. Cleaning Clear the dust behind the fridge and on the ground regularly. The inside of the fridge must be cleared up frequently to eliminate strange smell. Please shut off the power supply before cleaning. Please use soft towel and neutral detergent and finally wipe clean with clear water. Please don t use the following substances to clean the inside of the fridge: Alkaline or alkalescent detergent (which may crack the liner and plastic parts); Soap powder, bensoline, banana water, etc. (which may damage the plastic

parts); Please wipe away the edible oil or spice timely, if attached to the fridge. (which may crack the plastic parts) Lamp and replacement The lamp is 220V/2W(AC) and replaced after shutting off the power supply. Please detach the lampshade first, detach the 3 bolts and then replace LED lamp (detach 3 bolts). Please see the diagram. Please use the standard accessory. (The diagram only serves for indication. The real product shall prevail.) Shutdown Out of service for long: Please shut off the power supply, for the aged wire may cause electric shock o fire; keep the door open for some time and close it after the inside of the fridge is dry completely. Power failure: Please reduce the frequency of door opening as much as possible; fresh food is not suitably put in again. Abandonment: If the fridge is abandoned, please detach the door therefrom to prevent child from getting in. Fault and Solution Before maintenance, please go through the following table. Fault Cause Fridge not working See if power is through and if plug is inserted fast. See if the voltage is too low. Bad refrigeration See if temperature is over-high as adjusted See if too much food is put in. See if too hot food is put in. See if the door is opened and closed too frequently. See if there is any heat source near the fridge Loud noise See if the ground is flat and if the fridge is placed steadily. See if the accessories to the fridge are located in place. Food in cold See if the cold-storage temperature is in the quick-cold mode. chamber frozen See if the food containing too much water is put on the inner side of the rack Peculiar smell The food with smell shall be sealed closely. See if there is any food going bad. The inside of the fridge needs cleaning.

If the fridge can t work soundly still after checkup as abovementioned, please contact our post-sale service office. If the soft cord of power supply is damaged, the replacement must be done by our personnel in order to avoid any danger. Non-fault problems The liquid refrigerant in the capillaries of the fridge flows very fast and sometimes contain a few bubbles, which, as a result, may produce irregular murmurs at their exit. When the fridge is working, its rear serves to radiate heat. In the event of large humidity in the air, the area around the door may be wet. Just wipe with cloth. Energy Saving Tips The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight. Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality, or spoil. Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance. Appliance storage bin should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient. Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
