PYTHAGORAS TRIANGULATES TO LINCOLN In his book Powerpoints: Secret Rulers and Hidden Forces in the Landscape, the geomancer Robin Heath shows how the capital cities of England, Scotland and Wales, form a right-angled Pythagorean triangle with its sides in the ratio of 5:12:13. The right angle is at Cardiff. The shortest side of the triangle (ratio 5) joins Cardiff and London. The longest side of the triangle (ratio 13) joins London and Edinburgh. The third side of the triangle (ratio 12) joins Edinburgh and Cardiff. Heath shows how this same ratio triangle can be found within the layout of Stonehenge and the dowser, David R. Cowan, has also found it within the layout of his home town of Crieff in Scotland, which was laid out by Freemasons. From the three Capital cities of mainland Britain we now cross the Atlantic ocean to look to the Capital city of the United States of America, Washington DC, also designed by Freemasons. Here can be found yet another 5:12:13 triangle which is formed by connecting the US Capitol building with tributes to two of the USA s most influential presidents. The right angle of the Washington DC Federal triangle is at the Lincoln Memorial. The shortest side of the triangle (ratio 5) joins the Lincoln Memorial to a statue of George Washington on his horse in the Washington Circle, due north of the Lincoln Memorial. The longest side of the triangle (ratio 13) joins the Washington equestrian statue to the US Capitol building, passing through the White House. The third side of the triangle (ratio 12) joins the Lincoln Memorial to the US Capitol building, passing through the Washington Memorial Obelisk. The angle of the streets and the reflecting pools on the National Mall emphasise the pattern. 1

and from one Lincoln Memorial to another Lincoln memorial, a tombstone in the grounds of Lincoln Cathedral. The same shaped Pythagorean triangle also exists in Lincoln England, formed by connecting three structures which feature prominently in Dan Green s Lincoln Cathedral Code. The resultant triangle perfectly encloses Lincoln Cathedral, just clipping the outer edges of the cloisters, chapter house and south transept. Moreover, the 5:12:13 ratio is obtained by dividing the distance in metres between the three points by the number 28, which is also key to the Lincoln Cathedral Codex. The right angle of the triangle is at the statue of the high ranking Freemason and Victorian Poet Laureate, Alfred Lord Tennyson. The shortest side of the triangle (ratio 5) joins the Tennyson Statue to Dan Green s Marker Tomb. The longest side of the triangle (ratio 13) joins the Marker Tomb to the Observatory Tower of Lincoln Castle. The third side of the triangle (ratio 12) joins the Tennyson Statue to the Observatory Tower. Distance from Tennyson Statue to Marker Tomb = 140 metres. 140 / 28 = 5 Distance from Marker Tomb to Observatory Tower = 364 metres. 364 / 28 = 13 Distance from Tennyson Statue to Observatory Tower = 336 metres. 336 / 28 = 12 2

If we now return to Washington DC we can see how the one triangle seems to be pointing us in the direction of the other Inside the replica Greek Temple that is Washington DC s Lincoln Memorial is a huge seated statue of assassinated president Abraham Lincoln looking due east along the reflecting pool to the huge obelisk of the Washington Moument and beyond to the US Capitol Building. Due north of the Lincoln Memorial is the Washington Circle where George Washington sits astride his horse leading a change against the British in 1777. Washington and his horse face south-east along Pennsylvania Avenue, also towards the Capitol building, which is the US seat of power housing the Senate and House of Representatives. George Washington s tomb was meant to be housed beneath the crypt of the US Capitol building. However, the tomb remains empty since his will specified that he be buried elsewhere. Instead the crypt houses a massive white marble head of Abraham Lincoln. On the very top of the Capitol dome we find the Statue of Freedom. A robed lady wearing a Roman helmet, carrying a sword and appearing to be heavily pregnant. The Statue of Freedom faces due east away from the Washington equestrian statue and the Lincoln Memorial. However, although the statue itself is facing due east, the Lady s head is inclined to her left and her eyes are therefore gazing to the north-east. 3

Washington DC is situated at latitude 38 degrees North whereas Lincoln England is situated at 53 degrees North. Lincoln is thus north-east of Washington DC across the Atlantic ocean, in the direction that the gaze of the pregnant lady on top of the Capitol dome is directed. The distance between the seated Lincoln and the US seat of power in the US Capitol is 3,621 metres. The distance between Washington D.C. and Lincoln England is, 3,621 miles. Close to the Capitol Building on Constitution Avenue we find the Washington National Gallery. It houses art treasures including William Blake s The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed with the Sun. The painting illustrates the Biblical passages of Revelations Chapter 12, verses 1-5 where a great red dragon hovers over a pregnant woman who is about to give birth. The dragon is ready to devour her child the moment it is born - a situation akin to the Murder of Mary Magdalene. Blake is most famous for his poem Jerusalem which asks And did those feet in ancient times. One of the foremost experts on Blake just happens to be a Professor A. Lincoln of Queen Mary University, London So in the Capital city of the United States we have a Pythagorean 5:12:13 triangle laid out by Freemasons dominated by two very influential past Presidents looking towards a pregnant lady who has turned her back on them and is instead gazing afar in a north-easterly direction. Below her lies an empty tomb where Washington has been replaced by Lincoln. One of the Presidents is depicted charging towards the British while the other is named Lincoln, thus indicating the precise location of the pregnant lady s intended gaze - towards Britain, specifically the City of Lincoln, England. One of these two Presidents was assassinated whilst the other s tomb lies empty. In the Washington National Art Gallery, only a stone s throw from the empty tomb, we find a painting by the author of the unofficial English National Anthem, Jerusalem, depicting no less than the Murder of Mary Magdalene. 4

Lincoln Cathedral is perfectly enclosed by another 5:12:13 Pythagorean triangle in the south-east corner of which we find a memorial stone atop of an empty tomb marking the location of the remains of a lady from Roman times who was assassinated when a dagger was thrust into her pregnant belly devouring her and her unborn child. Thomas Rayner, whose name is inscribed on this memorial stone in Lincoln, was born in 1774, three years before Washington charged towards the British. Rayner died in 1862, three years before President Lincoln was assassinated. Therefore the first U.S. President Thomas Rayner would have known of was George Washington and the last would have been Abraham Lincoln. The statue of the Freemason and Victorian poet laureate, Tennyson, which completes the Lincoln Cathedral Pythagorean triangle, faces due east just like that of Abraham Lincoln, yet Tennyson himself is looking down as if to tell us that we need look no further because what we seek is below the ground here in Lincoln. Is this the collective unconscious trying to tell us through the medium of synchronicity that the true seat of world power in energetic terms lies not in Washington DC, nor even in any of the Capital cities of Britain, but in Lincoln England? And now we find another influential President in the making looking out upon the geometry of the Federal Triangle. 5
