SINCE 1895 For over a century, York Wallcoverings has been manufacturing wallpaper from the same factory location in the historic and picturesque Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania. Today, York is the oldest and largest wallcovering manufacturer in the United States, creating residential wallpaper, commercial wallcoverings and wall decals that can be found worldwide.
OUR ARCHIVES Drawing from our past, the York Archives provides access to thousands and thousands of document designs dating back to the early 18th century. York s revered Archives are an inexhaustible source of inspiration and reference for the artists, designers, and stylists who create the beautiful images that become York wallpapers.

CRAFTSMANSHIP The company s original 100-year-old surface presses continue to produce beautiful, distinctive document designs alongside the newest state-of-the-art printing presses. And although some of the printing technology has changed over the past century, the pride and craftsmanship that existed back then still endures throughout this historic company.
MANUFACTURING York is one of the only printing companies in the world to own and operate five different types of printing presses from some of the oldest and rarest to some of the most modern. Each type of press gives a distinctive look to the finished product. The oldest of York s presses dates back to the turn of the 19th century and is able to produce a beautiful painterly effect that cannot be duplicated by modern presses. Maintaining these presses and the craft of using them is held in the highest regard by all at York.

Our RoomMates division has grown in a relatively short time into one of the leading wall decal producers in the world. Offering thousands of fun, fast, affordable designs and easy application, RoomMates provides a wide range of quick-change décor options for busy, growing families. With the largest portfolio of licensed partners, ranging from Disney and Warner Brothers to Nickelodeon and Hasbro, and the ability to create trending designs from our own studio artists, RoomMates is able to react quickly to emerging trends. DIGITAL PRINTING The expansion of digital technology has afforded opportunities in the area of custom wallpaper printing. In addition to our own custom design work, we have developed a web-based custom design solution for our distributor customers. I-Design Customizable Wall Designs gives our network of York Contract distributors the opportunity to provide quick turn-around production of custom wallcoverings for their commercial designers and contract clients. SPECIALTY WALLPAPERS As the experts in wallpaper printing, York has also created a new sales division to sell our print-ready wallcovering substrates to custom print shops throughout the United States. Print Media Solutions provides quality, proven wallpaper grounds and media for digital printing of wallpapers, murals and wall décor. Beautiful wall décor often goes beyond the pleasing colors and carefully crafted artwork. The reflective nature of the inks, the tactile feel and real dimension of the surface combine to add luxurious appeal to the design. Intricately woven grasses, natural leaves, real mica and cork, dazzling glitter, sculptured inks, natural sand and glass beads are masterfully crafted into exquisite wallpapers for our high-end collections.
