It can be made to any size, allowing it to be integrated into any space you choose. Hips or valleys can be included in the design to allow the canopy to return seamlessly around corners. The soft and flowing lines of the Contour Line Canopy give a clean and contemporary look to a strong and highly practical structure. This modular system gives you the flexibility to achieve a wide and long sheltered outdoor area that can be adjacent to the building or a stand alone feature. A Lean To canopy is our best selling model offering you maximum space for your budget. It is ideally suited for outdoor play and learning areas where a sizeable, uninterrupted covered space can be achieved. The Contour Line Canopy is a heavy duty structure with an elegant arched roofline. It is ideal for covering large areas whilst maintaining a look that is aesthetically pleasing. This canopy has a lean-to roof shape and can be a free standing structure or in some cases, dependent upon the structure of your existing building, it can be attached to it. The Lean To canopy is available in White powder coated aluminium frame as standard with a choice of Clear, Opal or Bronze multi-wall polycarbonate roof glazing. Ideally suited to large outdoor eating or play areas, this structure can span unlimited lengths whilst allowing projections of up to 6 metres without the need for intermediary legs. Double or triple curves can be achieved to extend your coverage even further. Suited to walkways, the rounded line of the roof affords some protection from both elevations. The polycarbonate is shatterproof and is treated with a UV inhibitor at extrusion stage. If you wish, the canopy frame can be coated to an exact colour of your choice as an optional extra e.g. you may have a school colour you would like to use. As Living Space canopies are bespoke structures, they can be manufactured to ensure an exact fit for each location. There may be a multitude of obstructions with many doors, ramps and windows to avoid, or varying roof levels to negotiate. Some examples of design and installation challenges we have successfully overcome are: Using ʻHipsʼ and ʻValleysʼ to create seamless returns around and between buildings. Canopies can be designed to wrap around internal or external corners of irregularly shaped school buildings. Installing a Gable shaped canopy roof with added height to give a small enclosed space a light and airy feel and to allow plenty of light into the adjoining classrooms. Incorporating bespoke roof vents in a large enclosed courtyard canopy to provide easy access for cleaning and also to offer a way of reducing heat build up in the summer months. Including structural box gutters within canopy designs where columns are not practical and water egress is necessary. Ensuring that all our canopies are individually assessed by a structural engineer in terms of their location to establish site specific wind and snow loadings. The galvanised steel frameworks have a corrosion resistant zinc surface and can also be coated to a RAL colour of your choice. The clear coverings consist of high quality UV resistant and impact resistant PETG thermoplastic sheeting. We can design, supply and install a single shelter or a group of shelters to cover a large space. The modular designs are versatile and allow for further extensions at a later date. You can choose from: Single units or large runs that are either free standing or fixed to an existing building.
