Applications Chlorine gas disinfection systems can be used for various purposes: Drinking water The most important application area for gas disinfection systems is in the drinking water sector, including the disinfection of raw water as well as the final disinfection after treatment process. Pool water disinfection Every swimmer adds 1.000.000 to 1.000.000.000 microorganisms to the water. The water itself contains microorganisms, as well. Chlorine gas is the effective and economic means for the disinfection of swimming pool water. Process water disinfection Chlorine gas can also be used for disinfection of process water to ensure that microbial contamination transmission from water is minimized. Cooling water treatment By disinfecting the cooling water you remove microorganisms that can affect the system. Waste water disinfection Waste water disinfection includes disinfection of industrial waste water and municipal waste water.
