STS AND STS-DI PIPING Drain piping To allow normal operation and prevent steam from escaping through the drain line, the installer must provide a water seal of a sufficient height to contain the pressure developed in the humidifier system. RAPID-SORB PIPING IMPORTANT: FAILURE to follow the recommendations on these pages and all enclosed documents can result in excessive back pressures on the humidification system. This will result in unacceptable humidification system performance such as leaking gaskets, blown water seals, erratic water level control, and spitting condensate from dispersion tube. Do not used shielded (screened) cable when wiring water detection probe system between humidifier and controller; use 2 18-gauge (1 mm ) individual stranded wire. Replace airflow proving switch.
