Projekt #1 OBJEKT: Bj. 1967 300qm Dach Fenster Aussendämmung Heizung Elektro Sanitär Böden Wände This architects house from 1967 had a very generous open-plan layout which we liked from the off-set. At the end of the 60 s there was no oil crisis and so energy effience was not a high priority. In the course of rennovation a complete new underfloor heating replaced the original, walls and roof were insulated and large triple-glazed aluminium windows replaced the old double glazing. The open plan kitchen/dining area is a very inviting and generates views into the lounge and 1.OG terrasse.
Projekt #2 OBJEKT: Bj. 1910 - Einfamilienhaus 90qm Fenster Heizung Elektro Sanitär Böden Wände The house from ca. 1920 was one of the oldest in the street. The wonderfully pretty facade was restored to its former glory with anthrazite shutters and a light rose petal coloured wall covering. Several walls were removed and appropriate supports positioned invisubly ginving the ground floor a fresh and open feel. The central heating was moved to an outer building thus allowing the chimney stack to be removed completely. This gave additional flexibility to the interior area and more space.
Projekt #3 OBJEKT: Bj. 1910 90qm Fenster Heizung Elektro Sanitär Böden Wände Keller This corner house was returned to a beautiful, idyllic cottage with wonderful views of the surrounding Bergstrasse. Windows were enlarged in the living area bringing more light into the lounge. The kitchen and dining areas were brought together by removing the separating wall. The original diel floors were revealed after removing no less than severn different layers of floor coverings - this had preserved them very well! Subdued colours for door frames and doors compliment the high cielings on both floors.

Materials and spaces We understand where and when certain materials can be used for certain spaces. We are always looking at new possibilities and solutions for making something special out of the recources available. The use of solid oak in combination with an off-the-shelf kitchen system with an innovative tiled floor- wall-cieling concept connecting kitchen to dining area gave this house a very welcoming character. The double winged doors could open the whole of the ground floor into an open plan arrangement. The use of decorative traditional tiling and modern fittings made the main bathroom a very special feature.
Bäder With a passion for detail our bathrooms are highlights in all our houses. It doesn t matter how large or small the space, we always try to find the optimal solution and add a touch of magic making a mundane space into something very special.
Listed Buildings We have experience in working with local authorities regarding the renovation of listed buildings. This turn of the century villa was more a ruin than a house at the first view. Wonderful details revealed themselves during the careful restoration. There are strict regulations which have to be adhered to whether it s windows, materials, colours or proportions. As well as the interior we were careful with the facade and garden arrangement. The result is a delightfully inviting domicile with high, vaulted cielings, a logical and efficient spacial layout combined with Jugendstil flair and modern details.
