Safety Information These instructions contain important operating and safety information. The user must carefully read and understand the instruction manual provided, prior to operation of unit. The unit has been designed for optimal function, reliability, safety, and ease of use. It is the user s responsibility to install the oven in conformance with local electrical codes. Safety Precautions Warning precautions alerts for possible situations of personal injury. Caution precautions alerts for possible damage to equipment Do not use the unit in areas where flammable or explosive gasses are present. This unit is NOT explosion-proof. To avoid possible fire and/or property loss, and injury or death to personnel, do not place oven on or near any combustible surface. Warning mark on product Warning labels are affixed on the product and located on the front of the door. Be fully aware of the warning marks and messages during operation. 3

Installation Do not use this unit is areas where flammable or explosive gasses are present. This unit is NOT explosion-proof. Do not place oven on or near any combustible surface to avoid the possibility of fire and resulting property loss and injury or death to personnel. Do not use explosive and/or flammable substances that include explosive and/or flammable components. Not adhering and not following these precautions may result in explosions or fires. Do not place sample(s) on the floor of the chamber. There is a possibility that the sample(s) may overheat and catch fire. The unit must be connected to a power source that meets the electrical requirements as specified on the unit s nameplate. Use power supplies that are grounded. Ungrounded power may cause serious damage to the user and equipment. For safety, do not connect any ground conductor to a gas or water pipe. (1) Open the package carefully. Make sure all parts are accounted for before discarding packaging materials. a. Main body 4

b. Operating manual c. Fuse d. Shelf e. Shelf guide (2) Install the unit on a flat leveled surface, free from drafts, and heat sources, to allow for natural air movement to dissipate heat from the oven. (3) Allow enough space to the left of the unit to allow for the door to open 180. (4) Avoid heat source and direct sun light, place the unit where ambient temperature range is between 5 C ~ 40 C and relative humidity is lower than 80%. (5) Do not install unit in a danger zone, where there are flammable gases, explosive materials, and organic solvents. (6) The unit will only work correctly when using a proper power supply. (7) Outlets should be located near the unit and easily accessible. (8) Do not allow moisture, organic solvents, dust, and/or corrosive gas to enter into the control box. (9) Do not install unit near other machines generating strong high frequency noise. Notice (1) Do not touch power cord and/or other electric components with wet hands. (2) Do not explosive and/or flammable chemicals inside of the oven. (3) Do not place flammable materials near oven. (4) Use caution when handling samples inside of the oven. Samples will be hot to the touch during or after testing runs. (5) Do not pour water directly on the unit while cleaning. 5

Operation (1) Main body (2) Ventilation hole during operation ventilation gets very hot, wear dry safety gloves if adjustment is needed. (3) Shelf level adjustor (4) Shelf (5) Door (6) Door Handle (7) Chamber (8) Temperature Controller (9) Over temperature limit. (10) Door packing (11) Control panel (12) Main switch & Fuse (13) Foot (14) Door limit switch When door is open during operation the door open LED will blink and the unit will automatically shut off heater and blower. When the door remains open for more than one minute an audible alarm will notify user that the door is open. 6

Controller Specificity (1) CLS-Control System temperature and heater output are controlled by the main CPU. The Main CPU is able to perform precise PID calculations. All safety control is controlled by selective functional Logic IC which is installed separately. It is designed to conduct safety performance against any electric and/or electronic shock on the unit. (2) CLS-Control System shuts down all 2 phase power supply to each component immediately and informs user of instability through audio and visual device, and then keeps unit in safe mode until all instability conditions have been resolved. (3) CLS-Control System provides users with two choices when the unit operation are terminated by power failure and then recovered; the first choice allows for operation of unit to resume and the second choice allows for the unit to keep at standstill. (4) CLS-Control System is designed to keep very small amount of currency (only 5V, 10mA) in contact point. This allows for extended durability at the contact point. Name and operation (1) HEATER LED Indicates that the heating function is ON (2) Auto Tune LED Indicated by flickering when Auto-tuning (self calibration feature) is in operation. (3) Wait On Timer LED - Indicates operation delay start time. LED blinks when the timer is activated and is off when the timer is deactivated. (4) Wait Off Timer LED - Indicating operation stop time. LED blinks when the timer is activated and off when the timer is deactivated. 7

(5) Door open LED Indicates that the door is open. LED turns ON when the door is open. (6) Over heating alarm LED Indicates that overheating has been triggered. LED blinks while emitting an audible sound, when heater rises higher than the set temperature. When the oven over heats power is cut to the temperature controller. To resume operation set the knob 15% higher than the set temperature and press the Start/Stop button. (7) Temp button For setting the temperature and accessing sub menus. (8) Timer button For setting the timer and accessing sub menus. (9) Up button For increasing set value or cycling through setting values. (10) Down button For decreasing set value or cycling through setting values. (11) Enter button saves set value. (12) Start/Stop button Starts or stops operation of unit. (13) Lock button locks controller buttons. (14) Auto Tune button Activates auto-tune when pressing the A/T button for 1 second. (15) RUN LED - Turns on when the oven is running and turns off when the oven stops. (16) SV display displays set temperature and remaining time when timer is on. (17) PV display - displays present temperature. Temperature Setting (1) Press button once. From the SV LED display, the set temperature value (SV) will blink, allowing for input of different temperature values. (2) Press buttons to increase or decrease the temperature digit values. Then press button to save the desired set temperature value. (3) If the button is not pressed within 10 seconds of the temperature change the SV display will default back to original saved set temperature value. 8

(4) Press button once more when the SV LED display is blinking to access additional menus and settings of the TEMP button. (5) Additional function of button (1) A maximum of three pre set values may be stored in location slot Sv.1, Sv.2, and Sv.3. Press button twice to access SV.1 (set Value 1). To change the values in SV.1, use the and arrow to increase or decrease to desired set value, and then press the (enter) button. From the home LED display, press button three times to access SV.2 or four times to access SV.3. (2) From the home screen press the five times to select the desired temperature unit of measurement. On the initial PV LED display it will display Unit and the initial SV LED display will have either degree Celsius or degree Fahrenheight. Use the and arrow to cycle through the temperature unit measurements. (3) Press the button 6 times to access the BIAS setting. The BIAS setting will allow for temperature adjustment to a calibrated external thermocouple. To adjust the BIAS setting use the or arrows to increase or decrease values same to the calibrated external thermometer, and then press the (enter) button to save the adjustment. The adjustment value will be displayed on the SV LED display. 9
