Admonishments Important safety admonishments are used throughout this manual to warn of possible hazards to persons or equipment. An admonishment identifies a possible hazard and then explains what may happen if the hazard is not avoided. he admonishments in the form of Dangers, Warnings, and Cautions must be followed at all times. hese warnings are flagged by use of the triangular alert icon (seen below), and are listed in descending order of severity of injury or damage and likelihood of occurrence. Danger: Danger is used to indicate the presence of a hazard that will cause severe personal injury, death, or substantial property damage if the hazard is not avoided. Warning: Warning is used to indicate the presence of a hazard that can cause severe personal injury, death, or substantial property damage if the hazard is not avoided. Caution: Caution is used to indicate the presence of a hazard that will or can cause minor personal injury or property damage if the hazard is not avoided. When installing or modifying telephone lines, disconnect lines at the network interface before working with uninsulated lines or terminals. his section provides installation and wiring procedures for the epeater Mounting Shelves (Models IO-MA480 and IO-MA485). 3. epeater Mounting Shelf Installation Procedure here are four pre-drilled mounting flange locations available for positioning the shelf in the relay rack. By moving the mounting flanges at the desired pre-drilled location, the mounting shelf can be installed with the front either flush or extended two, four, or five inches (5.08, 0.6, or.70 cm) beyond the front of the relay rack. Install the mounting shelf by inserting it into the designated location in the relay rack. Align the shelf mounting flange holes to the relay rack mounting holes and attach with four -4 0.50 inch (.3 cm) machine screws. Note: o minimize heat build-up, mounting shelves should be installed in the relay rack with a two-inch (5. cm) heat baffle between each group of six shelves. efer to -EOP-000063 or to other local requirements that may apply, for system-level equipment heat dissipation. 3. epeater Mounting Shelf Model MA-480 Wiring Procedure 3..
