It also describes the event via SMS or recorded message, - allow you to speak to or listen to what is happening in the room in which the system is installed (intercom), - warn you in the event of a power cut lasting more than 0 minutes (if this function is declared to the alarm control unit). When used without an alarm control unit, it controls linked devices via a synthesized voice and calls the programmed telephone numbers (see 0) to warn of any power cuts. You can call Tydom 5 for: Alarm system control - start or stop the surveillance, - know the system's status, the room temperature and the outside temperature (with an outdoor siren). Heating Control When linked to a Tybox wireless thermostat, it allows you to control your heating system remotely. Tydom 5 can also operate autonomously, without external power supply. In this case: - it can only inform of triggered alarms and cannot be controlled remotely, - battery life is limited (see technical characteristics).

. Location Tydom 5 location - on a flat surface, with enough space above it to allow room for a screwdriver, - in a place difficult to locate by an intruder but easily accessed by the user. - in an area that can listen effectively in the area (clear and at a height of approximately.5 m), - near a socket.. Mounting / Connection GSM communications require a subscription taken out with an operator of your choice. This operator provides you with a SIM card that contains: - the information relating to the subscription you have chosen, on which your invoice depends, - a PIN code that you must unlock (using a mobile phone) before inserting the SIM card into the Tydom 5 transmitter. Location of the antenna The GSM antenna must be connected to Tydom 5 and installed: - indoors only, - in a place that has perfect GSM reception quality (see.5), - at least m from Tydom 5 and any other XD wireless receiver (the antenna cable's length is.90 m), - at least m away from any metal object. Advice before taking out your subscription: - Find out about the coverage of your operator's network for your installation. - To prevent the discontinuation of the GSM network due to the expiry of a prepaid or capped SIM card, it is advisable to avoid both these types of subscription. Important note: For safety reasons, the GSM transmitter's phone number must not be disclosed. Open the unit. Mount the base in accordance with the location precautions.. SIM card insertion When inserting the SIM card supplied by the operator of your choice, Tydom 5 must be switched off. 5. Characteristics - The power supply can be: - 9 Volts using the mains adapter. Consumption 0. A max. - 0 V, class II insulation - Volts using the stripped cable Average consumption 5 ma, insulation class III - Four.5 V LR -type alkaline batteries (included), 6-month autonomy if no mains, insulation class III - Remote control device and radio alarm equipment. - Radio range: 00 to 00 meters in free field depending on the equipment associated (the range can change depending on the installation conditions and the electromagnetic environment) - Radio frequencies: and 868 MHz, class I This device must be used in compliance with the legislation in force and local restrictions. Be careful to insert the SIM card correctly into the control unit (bevelled corner to the right). 5

. Mobile telephone application The Ma Maison / My home mobile telephone application lets you: - consult the system remotely to find out its status, - remotely control your system (create scenarios, information feedback etc.), - configurate the transmitter (telephone numbers, date etc.) This application can be installed on a compatible mobile telephone. It contacts your transmitter via SMS. To install the application on your mobile telephone and determine the compatibility of your telephone, go to: www.deltadore.com/mobile.. Connecting the antenna Screw in the antenna connector. The antenna cable should run through a raceway (removable cover) at the back of the unit. Before removing the protective film from the double-sided adhesive, the surface on which the antenna will be affixed must be thoroughly cleaned.. Connecting the power supply.. Using the mains adapter Connect the mains adapter as indicated opposite. The other part will be plugged into a 0 V socket. The power cable should run through a raceway (removable cover) at the back of the unit. Cable raceways.. Using the V cable If you only have a V socket for supplying power to the unit (e.g. boat, mobile home, etc.), use the suitable cable and connect it as indicated opposite (grey/black wire on the +, black wire on the -).. Changing the batteries Low batteries : the transmitter beeps briefly 5 times whenever the system is switched on or off. If the transmitter is called, the voice synthesis indicates Battery fault. From that point on, system autonomy is of approximately month, depending on use. To replace the LR alkaline batteries, the alarm control unit must be in Maintenance mode. To replace the batteries, disconnect the transmitter before opening the unit. The unit uses.5 Volt LR-type alkaline batteries. Precautions must be taken: - ensure that the +/- polarities are respected when the batteries are fitted into the unit. - do not place the used batteries in the household waste (for the sake of the environment, please take used batteries to a battery collection point). - do not recharge the batteries. - only use batteries that are strictly identical to those provided with your unit (alkaline batteries). They are sold in the store where you purchased your unit.. Fitting batteries Remove the protective tab from the batteries. Secure the unit to its base, taking care not to trap the antenna and power cables. Note: when Tydom 5 is connected to an alarm control unit and switched on, the green light flashes..5 Checking the GSM reception The LED flashes red: the GSM link is not established. The LED flashes red/green: the GSM link is established but the signal is weak. The LED flashes green: the GSM link is established and the signal is good. Beep

. Adding the transmitter to a Tyxal alarm system. Call procedure in the event of an alarm Step ) Set the control unit to Maintenance mode: Press and hold the ON and OFF buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds on a remote control and open the control unit cover. 5 sec. The transmitter picks up from the first ring. Hello! If a shutdown order is sent to a control device (remote control or control keypad), the transmitter stops the call cycle. Coercion shutdown This function leads any intruder to believe that you are entering the right access code while in fact triggering a call with no audible signal. 8. Linking the transmitter to a Tyxia control system. Alarm menu The Tyxia transmitter has control system command channels. Each channel can be linked to one or more receivers of the Tyxia range. Speak with the person or people in the room where the transmitter is installed. Press... Press, to select alarm. Main menu... Alarm - Press, to arm the alarm system - Press, to listen - Press, to speak menu - Press twice on to hang-up, to come back to the main menu Enter the channel number to assign (e.g. channel ). The transmitter beeps once. Press to enable the command channel. The transmitter beeps once more. Check that the receiver s LED is no longer flashing. The receiver is linked to the transmitter's command channel. Important note : - wait for the silences before pressing a button. - press to come back to the previous - press to prompt the transmitter to hang-up. "Beep Beep" "Beep" "Beep" Assign the command channel (e.g. channel ). Enable the command channel.. Heating menu Warning: The synthesized voice does not indicate the system status. You will not be informed in the event of a receiver or radio transmission fault. The heating mode must be turned on. To modify heating: - Press, to switch to Frost Protection mode. - Press, to switch to Economy mode. - Press, to switch to Comfort mode. - Press, to switch to Automatic mode.... Press, to select heating The heating mode is on Economy (example) - Press, to switch to Frost Protection mode, - Press, to switch to Comfort mode, - Press, to switch to Automatic mode, - Press twice on, to hang-up. 6

The transmitter will no longer offer the start or stop options. Call the transmitter. Enter your access code. After listening to the main menu, press #85. The transmitter beeps twice. Enter the control number to disable (e.g. control number ). The transmitter beeps once. Press 0 to disable the control system command number. The control system command can also be enabled and disabled using the Ma Maison / My home Java application. 0. Configurating the transmitter 0. 0. Modifying the vocal message The first time you activate the unit, the vocal message is: You are in contact with an alarm system. Press to modify. Record the new announcement using the telephone (e.g. Mr SMITH's alarm ). Speak after the tone, then press to confirm. The transmitter plays back the announcement that has just been recorded. Important note : The message must last no longer than seconds. 0. Changing the access code Setup - Press to modify the vocal message. The vocal message is "...". Press or to modify the vocal message. Please speak after the bip and press Speak the words of the vocal message, then confirm. The vocal message is "...". Press or to modify the vocal message. setup 0. Modifying the time Set the time to be informed of the exact time of any events that may occur. Important note : If you have just set the time and date with a control keypad with display, the transmitter will automatically set itself to the right time. 0.5 Modifying the date Set the date to be informed of the exact date of any events that may occur. The date can also be modified via the Ma Maison / My home Java application. 5 Setup - Press to modify the time setting. It is...
