Connect only to a properly grounded outlet. See "GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS" page 8. Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with the provided installation Instructions. Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers-for example, closed glass jars are able to explode and should not be heated in this oven. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance. This type of oven is specifically designed to heat, cook, or dry food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use. As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used by children. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or dropped. Only qualified personnel should service this appliance. Contact the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. Do not cover or block openings or vents on this appliance. Do not store this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water; for example near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or similar locations. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. Only use only mild nonabrasive soaps or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth when cleaning the door and door seal area. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity: a. Do not overcook food and carefully attend appliance when paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking. b. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bag in oven. Do not heat Chinese food containers or foil-lined bags. c. If materials inside the oven ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off and disconnect the power cord or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel. 5

d. Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils or food in the cavity when not in use. To reduce the risk of injury to persons: a. Do not overheat liquids. b. Stir liquid both before and halfway through heating. c. Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks. d. After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short time before removing the container. e. Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container. f. Very hot liquids could suddenly boil over when container is disturbed by a spoon or other utensil g. Liquids, such as water, coffee or tea can be overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling. WARNING: Children should only use the oven under adult supervision. WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until repaired by an authorized agent. WARNING: It is hazardous for anyone other than a factory authorized technician to carry out any service or repair operation that involves the removal of covers which protection against exposure to microwave energy. WARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed containers in which they are liable to explode. Additional Warnings The minimum height of free space necessary above the top surface of the oven must be more than 3 inches Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens When heating food in plastic or paper containers monitor cooking due to the possibility of ignition If smoke is observed, switch off and unplug the appliance, keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling; therefore care must be taken when handling the container The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars must be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption in order to avoid the possibility of burns Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens due to the possibility they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed 6

Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety This appliance is intended to be used in a freestanding position 7

Unpacking and Accessories Unpack all accessories from inside the cooking cavity Use the cooler insert to pack food and beverage inside the cooking cavity and keep it cold until you are ready to heat. The included cooking rack improves cooking performance and is especially designed for microwave popcorn. NOTE: DO NOT store the DC cables or AC cord in the cooler insert as they may become soiled with use. Placement in the cooler insert was for initial transportation purposes only. NOTE: Use of the cooking rack in all cooking modes will enable faster heating of items. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service person if the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a three wire extension cord that has a three blade grounding plug and three slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord should be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance. 8

Installation 1. Steady, flat location: When positioning the microwave oven, it should be set on a flat, steady surface. 2. Ventilation: Do not block air vents. If they are blocked during operation the oven may overheat and eventually cause oven failure. For proper ventilation keep 3 inches of space between the oven's top, sides, rear and the areas where the unit is to be installed. 3. Radio and TV reception: Poor television reception and radio interference may result if the oven is located close to a TV, radio, antenna or antenna wire. Position the oven as far from these items as possible. 4. A.C. Mode: Check your local power source. This microwave oven requires a 110~120V AC power outlet. 5. Use a receptacle that will accept the ground prong. 6. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. 7. If a long cord or extension cord is used: a. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. b. The extension cord must be a grounding type 3-wire cord. c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. 8. Examine the oven for any damage such as: dents, a misaligned door, broken door or a dent in the cavity. If any of the above is visible notify the dealer immediately. DO NOT INSTALL THE UNIT. 9

Operation Power On Connect the WaveBox to a single power source of your choice: AC Operation Plug into any standard 120V ( 240V European Model) grounded AC power outlet. 12 Volt DC Battery Power Plug unit into Power Hunt 12 volt Power Strip or Power Port. See Power Strip or Power Port installation manual for battery connection instructions NOTE: Do not connect the WaveBox to more than a single power source at any given time, it will not operate. After connecting your WaveBox to a single power source, the unit will beep to let you know it is ready for use displaying zeros in the display window. The WaveBox is now ready for operation. When connecting to an automobile, small truck, boat or van the engine should be running in order to prevent discharge of the battery to a point where the vehicle will not start. When connecting to large trucks, motor homes or buses with high capacity or deep cycle batteries the unit may be used without running the engine. 10

Control Panel COUNT DOWN COOKING TIMER (20 MIN.MAX.) COOK TIME BUTTONS PRE-SET TIME BUTTONS START/STOP BUTTON CONTROLS OVEN OPERATION AND CHILD LOCK FEATURE Caution: Do not place any objects on the door while it is open, Damage to the door sealing surfaces may result. Pre-set Buttons Pressing any of the 3 pre-set buttons will automatically show the pre-programmed cooking times. Two seconds later, the WaveBox will begin cooking. 11

Cooking Time Setting cooking times manually Press the Minute button once, and the cooking time will be set for one minute, with the Display Window showing 01:00 ; Press the Minute button twice, and the cooking time will be set for two minutes, with the Display Window showing 02:00. The maximum time that can be set by the Minute button is 20 minutes. Press the Second button once, and the cooking time will be set for 5 seconds, with the Display Window showing 00:05 ; Press the Second button twice, and the cooking time will set for 10 seconds, with the Display Window showing 00:10. The maximum time that can be set by the Second button is 55 seconds. You may press and hold the Minute or Second button for 2 seconds and the timer will automatically increase in increments. Once the cooking time has been set, press the Start/Stop button once and the WaveBox will begin to work. At the end of the cooking time, the WaveBox will beep six times to signal that cooking has finished. If you want to stop cooking prior to the end of the cooking time, simply press the Start/Stop button once and the WaveBox will stop cooking. Safety Read all instructions before using the appliance. Do not attempt to use this oven with the door open since this can result in exposure to microwave energy. Do not interfere or tamper with the safety systems on this unit. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is necessary for the door to close properly and that there is no damage to the hinge system, latch, or seal The oven should not be serviced by anyone other than a properly qualified appliance service technician Sealed glass jars may explode when heated and should not be heated in this oven Use this oven only for its intended use, which is to heat, cook, or dry food. It is not designed for any other use, such as industrial or laboratory work This product is not for use by children. Adult supervision is always necessary Do not operate this oven if it has a damaged cord, plug, or casing Do not cover or block the ventilation ports Do not immerse cord or unit in water 12

Do not let cords hand over edge of table or counter, or near/ on heated surfaces In the unlikely event that materials inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off, and disconnect from the power source Do not use metallic cookware in the oven. Use of the included cooking rack is acceptable Do not operate the oven with the cooler insert inside the cavity Do not operate the oven when it is empty Stand at arms length as hot air or steam may cause scalding Do not heat baby food in closed jars, eggs in shell, nuts or seeds in shell, disposable bottles, or bottles with nipples on Always use caution when removing heated foods and beverages from the oven as these items may be excessively hot and cause burns. Let items stand and cool after cooking Child Lock For the safety of children, parents can press and hold the Start/ Stop button for 5 seconds, and OFF will be shown on the Display Window, locking all buttons. To unlock all buttons, parents must press and hold the Start/Stop button again. NOTE: The WaveBox is built with an ABS plastic shell for lightweight and portability. After each cooking operation is completed the internal fan will continue to operate for a few minutes in order to cool down the system. After cool down the fan will stop, this is normal operation and does not mean that the unit is defective. Please do not return the WaveBox to your retailer/distributor due to this unique fan operation. CAUTION: After extended cooking periods while using the cooking rack, the rack may become hot to the touch. Please wait a few seconds after ending cooking to touch the rack. CAUTION: Never use the WaveBox while operating a moving vehicle, use only when stationary. 13

Care and Cleaning Exterior Clean with mild soap and water, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not immerse in water, or get water in the exterior vents. Interior Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. For tough residue, use baking soda and warm water. DO NOT USE OVEN CLEANERS INSIDE THE MICROWAVE. Door Seals Always make sure that door seals are clean and debris free allowing the door to seal well. Troubleshooting Refer to the suggested solutions below if any of the following issues are experienced. The oven does not start - Is the door completely closed? - Is the oven connected to a suitable single power source? The food or beverages do not heat - Is the door completely closed? The food is either over-cooked or under-cooked - Was the appropriate cooking time selected? Sparking is occurring inside the oven - Have you put metal inside? - Is a utensil inside? - aluminum foil inside? One Year Limited Warranty Power Hunt products are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by product deterioration or by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use. Scratches, stains or damage from improper cleaning or maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded by this warranty. This warranty is deemed to be voided if the UPC on the product have been removed, defaced or altered. It is not guaranteed that all future versions of Power Hunt products will be compatible with this product. To claim under this warranty, you are required to present the original sales receipt/invoice and the customer portion of the warranty card as proof of purchase.
