XBMS Open Building Management System
Building Management Neuron BMS Server integrates signals from all building installations with the use of open communication protocols, i.e. BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, M-Bus, RS485 or Ethernet, enabling monitoring of HVAC, water and sewage technology, precision air conditioning; utility consumption, solar power stations, allowing for full control of the building heat balance. Depending on the selected software profile, XBMS servers can act as BMS (Building Management System), SMS (Security Management System) and PMS (Power Management System). Internet The Internet is a natural work environment for XBMS servers. Users connect to the server with encrypted protocols and their accounts have a multi-level system of authorisations, allowing for management and full monitoring of the states in real time. Server software runs under control of a secure operating system of UNIX class having its own "Firewall", protecting the database effectively against unauthorised access. TM LONWORKS
Safety Management The task of Astro BMS Server is the integration of all teletechnical installations in the field of fire alarm system, intrusion detection systems, access control system/ Time&Attendance and CCTV. The server is the primary source of information for the building security on the state of surveillance zones, alarms and failures. It facilitates fast location of the source of the problem on monitoring maps, synchronised with preview of images from CCTV cameras. Coherent system of priorities and handling the conduct procedures allow to control a large number of rapidly emerging alarms and support services in order to solve the problems efficiently in a single or a group of multiple facilities dispersed throughout the country. Servers can be used in facilities with various scale and integrate systems of different manufacturers. Depending on the needs, the server roles can be combined with each other properly, can act locally within a single building or in a distributed architecture, including a lot of facilities throughout the country with its operation. Servers can work in redundancy, allowing to increase the reliability of the whole monitoring system. Integration BACnet protocol is now the undisputed standard in the monitoring industry. More and more manufacturers are adapting their devices to this standard. XBMS servers use BACnet IP/MSTP to basic integration while supporting a lot of other popular open communication standards, thus enabling the broadly defined integration of network and devices of independent manufacturers.
Power Management Neuron BMS server enables the full control of the energy balance of the building in terms of consumption and production of electricity. It integrates power generators, photovoltaic power plants and monitors the state of the emergency power supply and ATS. It monitors quality of the energy supplied and monitors the consumption using analysers and meters. It is the primary source of information about the parameters of electricity, input power and the contractual capacity exceeded. Neuron BMS works with concentrators of Quantum Controls control and monitor switchboard for monitoring the state of the current and voltage protections in the main low voltage distribution board and zone switchboards, monitors and controls the lighting circuits and fluorescent lighting ballasts. If it occurs, the system supports the staff in taking appropriate actions to resolve the problem by providing the necessary information and technical documentation in the form of appropriate procedures defined by the user. All actions taken can be supervised and accepted by operators on a regular basis in conjunction with the view of images from CCTV cameras in real time. Reports XBMS servers can collect selected data from devices for a lot of years, making them available at any time for current or seasonal comparative analyses. Reports can be run by the authorised operators of workstations, operator panels and mobile devices as well as remotely via the Internet in the form of graphical or tabular summaries. Facility management throughout the Europe XBMS servers can control building installations locally and simultaneously send the processed data to the central or zone server responsible for collecting summary information. In this way, it is possible to build a monitoring system including a lot of facilities located throughout the country. In the case of a network of small facilities where it is necessary to monitor a few signals, a local controller can act as concentrator of Quantum Controls control and monitor switchboard, registering potential-free, analogue or main signals. In complex systems, the central or zone server can work in redundancy in order to increase the level of reliability of the monitoring system.
