Consumers are striving for more self-reliance and want to achieve an ultra-sustainable lifestyle. In order to achieve this, seek products with distinctive, individual features marked by imperfection, not perfection. A new interest in crafts from the past is evolving, whilst a new organic look is also being created, where we share, barter, improvise, recycle and rethink. This trend is invigorating and optimistic, where urban gardening, recycling and water conservation provide a casual, yet confident look as we see collections of a variety of textures, materials and surfaces old and new combined. Different sizes of floor and wall tiles are key to this trend where natural finishes and natural structures provide homely comfort and are softened by cosy knits.
