I. Repair & Enhancement of Pall HVP-900 1. Added Condensate Sump to prevent oil carryover from vacuum tower when foaming occurs. Customer requested this due to severe foaming and over 100 Gallons of oil hitting the ground and contaminated the top soil. 2. Added improved Vacuum Pump Lube System. Includes precision needle valve drip-oil control with lower level float shut down and alarm indication. The customer had the OEM oil lube reservoir go dry and cause the vacuum pump to fail. 3. Replaced all filters with OFS direct replacement filters. 4. Ran Stainless Steel Tubing for all connections on vacuum circuit. New Lube Reservoir with Low Level Alarm & Shutdown. New Condensate Sump to prevent foam carryover and consequent oil spills. Added High Oil Level Shutdown. Stainless Steel Tubing Installed Page 2
II. Repair & Enhancement of Filter Dyne 5 GPM Oil Purifier 858-300 - System 1 1. Rebuilt and replaced the existing failed liquid ring vacuum pump. 2. Repaired ruptured evaporator / radiator on water cooling system. 3. Improved the air inlet metering of air flow with precision needle valve and added air intake filter system. Previous system had no air intake filtration. 4. Replaced existing poly plastic tubing and brass compression residential plumbing fittings with stainless steel tubing and industrial Weather Head compression fittings. 5. Replaced all filters with OFS direct replacement filters. 6. Repainted and relabeled the system. Precision air intake control for vacuum regulation with air intake filter. Repair internal wiring and damaged thermo-coupler wires. Installed system lifting eye. Precision air intake control for vacuum regulation with air intake filter. Replaced plastic tubing and brass compression fitting with stainless steel tubing and steel Weatherhead compression fittings. Installed gate valve for variable flow control on inlet & outlet flows. II. Filter Dyne 5 GPM Oil Purifier Recommended Upgrade System 3. No electric DP Gauge with Shutdown. This design the pump will go into bypass and no oil will leave the system. Electrical Conduit is non metallic with non metallic fittings Lower Cost. We use Exterior Vinyl with internal steel with steel fittings to make an internal short go to ground. Also the conduit is more robust and does cost more. Must prime the liquid ring pump every startup with water. Must have continuous water supply for the condenser to operate and the system to be efficient. Water Sump for the liquid ring pump gets sludged up with process oil. Also dirt gets into the sump and wears out the liquid ring pump. Must remove entire top structure in order to clean it. Filterdyne uses PVC Hose on for their oil lines.??? Serious Reliability & Liability Concern Saves money but seriously this one is not good. Page 5
III. Repair of Enhancement of Enervac 15 GPM Oil Purifier 3 total systems. 1. Replaced Coalescer Media Filters inside the towers with permanent dispersion media permanent tdispersion i media does not thave to be changed dtherefore saving the customer from changing internal vacuum tower coalescer filters. The savings saved the customer thousands of dollars per year. 2. Removed and simplified all ¾ discharge oil plumbing and installed larger sized 1.5 discharge plumbing for improved oil flow and reduced backpressure on the pump. 3. Installed filter bypass line, installed filter differential pressure gauge & change filter light on the front control panel. 4. Repaired and modified electrical controls within the control panel. 5. Repainted and relabeled the system. Installed Permanent Dispersion Media Elements in the vacuum tower replaced coalescer elements never have to be changed again. Installed Differential Pressure Gauge and change filter light. Installed flow control bypass valve for variable flow control of inlet and outlet. Repaired electrical controls within the control panel. Removed and simplified all ¾ discharge oil plumbing and installed larger sized 1.5 discharge plumbing for improved oil flow and reduced backpressure on the pump. Page 6

Very low cost pump. We stopped using them 2 years ago because of reliability problems. You can see where the customer is applying sealer to stop vacuum seal from leaking. Before Repair After Repair We have many performance features to make your Gulfgate Vacuum Dehydrator much easier and lower cost to operate. 1. We replace liquid-ring or water eductors with Claw vacuum pump systems. Eliminate the need for water - only one utlitly is required, electricity. 2. We replace water cooled condensers with air cooled heater exchangers Eliminate the need for water - only one utlitly is required, electricity. 3. Note: A typical Gulfgate System requiring water will consume water at a flow rate of 5 GPM. 5 GPM running 24/7 for 365 days (1 year) = 2.63 million gallons of water consumed in 1 year. Also by eliminating i water you decrease the possible risk of electric shock @ 480 Volts. 4. Replace Coalescer Elements in Vacuum Tower with Permanent Dispersion Media (PDM) Filter Elements this eliminates the need for costly coalescer element change-out because PDM Elements never need have to be changed. They also are no viscosity limited like coalescer elements. You can process up to ISO 680 Gear Oil with PDM Elements. Page 10
