THE JOURNEY The Ali Alghanim and Sons Group of Companies was founded in the early 1960s by Mr. Ali M. T. Alghanim, currently Chairman of Chamber of Commerce in Kuwait, with the establishment of a factory for the fabrication of steel sheds and water tanks. From 30 people then, the group has grown manifold to more than 8500 employee with annual turnovers exceeding USD 900 million. COLD & CHILLER ROOM Chiller Room Plant: A typical chilled water cooling plant is comprised of one or more chiller(s), chilled water circulation pump(s), condenser water pump(s), and cooling tower(s), plus piping to interconnect these components. One or more cooling coils are used to transfer heat out of the supply air stream and into the chilled water. Cold Room Plant: Most older homes have a cold room or root cellar in the basement usually you ll find it under the front porch. These basement rooms were designed for storing food and preserves, so they re not insulated.
