Try nd wsh clothes of different sizes in the sme wsh progrmme to fvour the distribution of the clothes inside the drum during spin-drying. All the models hve sfety system for spin-drying tht prevents spin-drying from being crried out if the distribution of the clothes inside the drum is too concentrted. It should then be thoroughly dried with soft cloth. Importnt When there hve been spillges of detergent or dditives from the dispenser onto the wshing mchine cbinet, clen them up right wy s they re corrosive. 21

wshing mchine sfety nd troubleshooting If you detect ny problems with your wshing mchine, you will probbly be ble to rectify them yourself by consulting the following instructions. If this is not the cse, unplug the pplince nd contct the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICE. Indictor FO1 FO2 CO3 FO4 Problems No wter coming in Does not drin or spin-dry Does not spin-dry Does not strt Importnt Never open up the pplince. There is no fuse or similr component inside tht cn be replced by the user. FO5.. F10 Cll the Technicl Assistnce Service PROBLEMS Why won t the wshing mchine strt? This my be due to the following: Check the door is properly shut. The wshing mchine is not plugged into the mins or there is no voltge in the mins supply. The Strt/Stop button hs not been pressed. If the wshing mchine door is not properly shut, F04 will pper on the disply. Why is the wshing mchine vibrting or mking too much noise? This my be due to the following: The blocking nd trnsport screws hve not been removed. The wshing mchine hs not been correctly levelled. 22

sfety nd troubleshooting Why doesn t the wshing mchine tke in wter? Indictor F01, no wter coming in, this my be due to cut in the wter supply, tp turned off or blocked wter inlet filter. The possible solutions re s follows: wit for the wter supply to be reconnected, turn on the tp, or remove the wter inlet hose nd clen the filter. If this filure is detected, F01 will pper on the disply. Why doesn t the wshing mchine drin or spin-dry? The resons for the F02 indictor my be the following: wshing mchine drin pump blocked, building dringe pipes blocked, or incorrect pump electricl connection. Solution: if the pump is blocked, gin ccess to it s described in section 2, mintining nd clening the pplince. If this filure is detected, F02 will pper on the disply. Why doesn t the wshing mchine spin-dry? This my be due to n uneven distribution of clothes in the drum nd my cuse n excessive level of vibrtions. The solution is to select spin-drying progrmme. If this filure is detected, C3 will pper on the disply. Why cn t I see ny wter in the drum during the wsh? This is due to the fct tht the wshing mchine is provided with system which is ble to dpt to the lod nd type of fbrics, djusting the levels of wter nd energy used, in order to preserve the environment. So, lthough the wter level you cn see through the htch my look low, there is no cuse for concern s wshing nd rinsing efficiency will still be optimum. 23
