Although your final choice for stone molding and trim will be based on your personal taste, there are some guidelines that will help you narrow down the choices: LINER 1 & 2 Look to the architecture and style of your home. If you have a Classic style home, you ll want to stick with more traditional styles. A Contemporary leaving area can easily support a clean and cool liner detailed stone moulding. Keep scale in mind. Will you use stone wall cladding, or go for a more classic white painting? If you intend on using two or more colors, two or more finishes, look for stone molding that can fit together with other colors and finishes, in order to achieve a wonderful look. Match the style and scale of your stone molding to the baseboards, window casings and door casings. It can be jarring to have slender door casings and window casings paired with deeply carved stone molding. If you want to introduce new design of moldings, consider replacing the casings and baseboards as well to achieve a cohesive look.
