ZX Peripherals Repeaters: Available in both passive and active formats. The active repeater also enables basic control over system operation. A range of printers is also available, either integral or remote. Mimic display panels: Enable rapid identification of the fire location. With the addition of key switches, mimics can also be used to control functions such as fans, dampers and fire doors. Pager Interface Card: Using this, additional reporting and functionality can be achieved. The card quickly sends alarm information to designated staff. Networking Key features: Two wire network. No special tools required. Simple programming and set-up. Up to 99 panels on a single network. Choice of network configurations. Software Programming Kit Upload / download programme: Allows the results obtained by the AUTOLEARN feature to be downloaded onto a PC. From there it it easy to check the devices installed, their addresses, assign text and set up any cause and effect requirements. You can also configure any Patterns and assign Events. 13
Loop and Battery Calculator: Automatically takes the information from all the device types installed on each loop, and provides a quick and easy to use display showing the loading of the system. Can also be used to check whether additional devices, if added, will work correctly. Dial up tool. Used in conjunction with a modem to dial into the panel from a remote location. From there all relevant panel information can be viewed, downloaded or amended as required. 14
Morley-IAS Analogue Addressable Detection Key Features: Full range of detection capabilities. Flexible range of I/O modules. Loop driver sounders and beam detectors. Simple addressing. Smoke and heat sensors, manual break glasses, input & output modules and sounders. All of these products, along with the fire alarm panel, provide a complete analogue addressable life safety system. Each loop of the control panel supports up to 198 devices: 99 sensors and 99 modules. Easy to use code wheels allow each device to have a unique numeric address on the loop. Morley-IAS Advanced Detection Multi-Sensors - hotel bedrooms: Both smoke and heat sensing capabilities, and when used in a combined mode are more selective to real fire conditions and more immune to false alarms caused by steam or dust. Laser detectors - computer rooms : These provide the user with a greater spread of detection sensitivity levels. Beam detectors - atriums: For use where the ceiling is too high for normal point type smoke detectors. Flame detectors - fuel storage: The range includes UV and IR detectors as well as the more specialised devices with combined UV/IR or triple IR sensor. 15
