Company Profile Eco & Eco is a company operating in the fields of environmental economic research and consultancy for the management of environmental resources. The company was set up in 1991 by: Sebastiano Brusco, Professor of Industrial Economics and Politics at the Faculty of Economy and Commerce at the University of Modena; Anna Natali, at that time both Scientific Co-ordinator and Research Director of the Environment section of Nomisma; and Paolo Bertossi, who was previously a partner in a research and consultancy company specializing in the field of commerce and tourism. Today, Eco & Eco deals with the environment from a number of different points of view: territorial management, in particular national parks and protected conservation areas political economy of environment: sustainable development of the local economy, tourism, Local Agenda 21 industrial economy: environmental technologies, waste management training in all previous subjects The core staff of eco&eco is represented by following experts Anna Natali has the role of supervisor and scientific co-ordinator within the group. Francesco Silvestri is the President and managing director of the company. He has an education in economics and political science (historical specialization) and deals with research on park economy and local development. He teaches Environmental Economics at University of Bologna since 2001. Vincenzo Barone co-ordinates the research related to sustainable local development in protected conservation areas. He has acquired extensive experience regarding the economy of national parks and the problems related to rural development. He has also carried out field research, both in Italian conservation areas and in various European conservation areas. Antonio Kaulard, economist, carries out research primarily in the field of environmental technologies, and is specialized in problems concerning integrated and sustainable waste management. Nathaly Dizerens, who speaks four languages, is responsible for contacts with collaborators and clients. Eco&Eco collaborates closely with Nomisma SpA, that holds 10% of its social stock; as well as collaborating on a stable basis with for research regarding environmental industrial economics, with Iefe-Bocconi University for research in the field of waste, and with WWF Italia in the field of training.
