Where loved ones will be remembered amidst fragrant roses and garden walks One of the greatest symbols of love and remembrance, roses are everywhere in Woronora. Our magnificent Rose Gardens give our gardeners full rein to their passion for this timeless bloom. The formal gardens, which are celebrated in the Shire Community, brim with colour and delight. Every hue is on show, from sweet pinks to deep rich reds, cheerful yellows and delicate whites. Some of the bushes date back to the 1930s. The garden itself is laid out in an elaborate pattern that, from the air, is revealed as a stained glass window. A wonderful fusion of colour and harmony, our Rose Gardens are a charming and gentle place to create an enduring and lifeaffirming memorial to your loved ones. Placed along the borders, Garden Walk Positions allow family and friends to reflect on loved ones with a small plaque that lies beneath a favourite rose. Step inside the flowing corridors and find yourself in a gracious, open-aired piazza with simple and discreet Niche Walls surrounding you. Palm trees lend an air of deep serenity, while the Book of Remembrance is turned each day, to allow you to record special details of your loved one s memorial in artistic calligraphy. Surrounding the central building, pleasant gardens allow for gentle strolls and quiet contemplation. A passionate and vivid chronicler of Australian life, Mary s garden is one that celebrates the unassuming joys of the Australian bush. Scribbly gums tower overhead, their straight trunks forming natural columns that encircle the simple gardens beneath. Far from the world s cares, the air rings with the sound of birdsong. Elegant and understated Niche Walls seem to blend into the setting, while Family Estate Memorials dot the garden, completely immersed in their relaxed surroundings.
