EDUCATION Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, 1986 EXPERIENCE Mr. Haug offers extensive engineering and management experience, assuring success in our client s engineering challenges. He provides leadership in the design of building electrical systems from the conceptual design through system construction and continually provides work direction to the design team. These efforts often include cost estimating, field survey, and site inspections. His experience includes the preparation of studies and reports dealing with building electric systems to assist clients in establishing design criteria and appropriate work scope. He remains knowledgeable of current technical developments applicable to Electrical Engineering projects and promotes these applications within Leedy & Petzold. A specific area of interest includes the design and specification of electric service and power distribution facilities, as well as standby and emergency power generation facilities. Representative projects that Mr. Haug has been involved with are as follows: Project Manager for electrical consulting engineering of Johnson Controls Glendale, WI Campus Expansion and construction administration thru Hunzinger Construction Company. The Corporate Headquarters expansion at Johnson Controls 33-acre campus in Glendale is designed as LEED Platinum. The project includes both renewable energy and energy efficiency in the following: 141,000 sq. ft. new Corporate Headquarters Office Building from renovation of Corporate Buildings No. 2 and 3. 211,599 sq. ft. Power Solutions Headquarters 35,000 sq. ft. Amenities Building with a cafeteria, meeting rooms, and a fitness center. Eight-Level Parking Structure. Battery Tech Center Renovation. Battery Formation and Test Center LED Parking and Roadway Lighting 380KW Photovoltaic System. 24,9KV Primary Substation with 4,160V underground distribution to building transformers. Provided electrical engineering services for 130,000 square foot, 7-story, Brengel Technology Center in Milwaukee. This project features include: energy efficient lighting sources, indirect lighting, Metasys control of Lighting System including daylight control, time clock control, security control, and phone control, 13.2KV, 1500KVA substation, 2000A. 480Y/277V. main distribution switchboard, vertical riser busway distribution, 125KW standby emergency generator, 80KVA uninterruptible power system, flexible underfloor raceway and cable management design, Category 7 telecommunications wiring system, Addressable Automatic Fire Alarm System, and Personal Environment Responsive workstations. Project received a bronze level award from the U.S. Green Buildings Council for Energy Efficiency as well as a Best of 2000 Midwest Construction award. Construction Administration thru M. A. Mortenson Company. Provided electrical engineering services for 920,000 square foot renovation of CUNA Mutual Insurance Group Corporate Offices in Madison, Wisconsin. Project involved multi-phase renovation (18 phases) of CUNA s three-building complex consisting primarily of open office space and public areas utilizing - 1 -

energy efficient indirect lighting. The existing building distribution systems were reused, modified and extended to facilitate the increase in electronic loads within the powered open office furniture systems. Sound masking, ADA compliant Fire Alarm and Voice/Data wiring systems were provided to meet the needs of a modern office facility. Provided Airfield Electrical Master Plan of General Mitchell International Airport to allow successful implementation of proposed improvements. Report detailed recommendations with clear justifications on proposed courses of action, a detailed map indicating conceptual facilities, and a budget showing cost for each recommended improvement. Coordinated design and specifications for modernizing and upgrading the primary power system for Saint Luke s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Design included a complete new primary head end system to interface with (16) substations throughout the complex. Specific equipment includes a complete new 2-Line 26.4 KV service switchgear line-up with auto-source transfer control system. Designed installation of a third 7,500 KVA small power transformer including re-engineering the secondary 3810 volt distribution system. A comprehensive cutover procedure was documented as part of the design for removing existing equipment and replacing with new to minimize service interruption. A new powerhouse was built to accommodate (30) bays of switchgear with a basement designed for cable routing on trays along with (6) new underground duct packages. Provided electrical engineering services for the following office facilities: Advanced Healthcare Corporate Center (design), Germantown, WI American Cancer Society, Riverwood Corporate Center, Pewaukee, WI CUNA Mutual Group, Office Building Addition (design), Waverly, IA Greenway Office Building, 4-Story Vertical Expansion, Middleton, WI Greenway Office Building, 6 th & 7 th Floor Submetering, Middleton, WI Prairie Preserve Corporate Center, Pewaukee, WI Purity Delafield Office Building, Delafield, WI Raven Office Facilities, Middleton, WI Provided electrical engineering services for Delphi Automotive Systems Tech 2000 Project, Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Designed retrofit of 60,000 square foot space inside existing factory. Lighting and power systems were retrofitted to accommodate needs of new production and enhance energy efficiency. Existing T12HO fluorescent lighting was removed and replaced with energy efficient 320W pulse start metal halide. Light levels were improved and energy needs reduced. Emergency lighting was added. New power distribution busway was added to accommodate new loads as well as stepdown transformers and associated 208Y120V panelboards. Provided electrical engineering services for addition to manufacturing plant for Waukesha Electric Systems Corporation, Waukesha, Wisconsin. The addition was approximately 100,000 square feet and included manufacturing, assembly, machining, welding, painting, product testing and shipping and receiving. Interior lighting consists of 1000W HID high bay fixtures mounted on channel wire distribution system. Fluorescent emergency lighting. Power system expands upon existing dual line utility service with extension of primary loop to three new 1000KVA substations, and primary feeder to new 3000HP motor. Power distribution for equipment within the building is provided by new 480V distribution busways, stepdown transformers and 120V panelboards. Emergency power is provided from a new 125KW emergency generator. A building grounding mat, underground duct package and manholes were also designed. Furnished design configuration for Bechtel National Corporation - Sprint Spectrum Personal Communication Systems. Site adapted designs include water tower, monopole and lattice tower antenna installations with base transmission systems inside existing structures, new buildings or mounted directly on grade in fenced-in enclosures. LPA assembled bid drawings utilizing Bechtel standard detail templates and Sprint Site Review and Material Requisition data. Drawing content included electrical equipment layout for grounding ring, electrical service and distribution, coaxial cable routing and antenna mounting, equipment ground connections, bill of materials and associated details. Designed and developed documents for the electrical facilities for Rawson Elementary School in South Milwaukee, WI. This building was approximately 100,000 sq. ft. with facilities for Kindergarten thru 5th Grade, art, music, special education, an outdoor playground, gymnasium, library computer lab and performing stage. Electrical challenges included energy efficient lighting design using state of the art lamps and ballast combinations as well as occupancy controls, emergency power system with natural gas generator, stage and gymnasium dimming systems, fire alarm system, rescue assistance audio visual system for the handicapped, classroom paging/intercom, gymnasium audio, flexible raceway system design for current and future communication and data system needs. Exterior lighting and control including parking area and drive lighting as well as building security and flood lighting. Also designed softball and football field lighting systems for South Milwaukee Schools. Provided power system design and construction administration services for Welded Tube Company of America New Tube Mill in Portland, Oregon. Project included development of new 12.47KV electric service and associated distribution. Distribution included (3) 12.47KV pad mounted distribution switchgear units, underground duct and manhole system, (7) 12.47-480Y/277V transformers, and (4) 4000A. main distribution switchboards. Other services included design of power and raceway system to serve Owner machine layout, assistance in bidding, construction review and Owner purchase of materials. Coordinated electrical engineering design and construction follow-up efforts for multi-state Vehicle Emission Inspection Program. These efforts included more than 150 buildings consisting of new and remodeled facilities in Colorado, Connecticut, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. These buildings entailed power system designs - addressing harmonics, sensitive electronics and power quality - to insure proper and reliable future power system operation. Provides ongoing electrical engineering design services for Johnson Controls, Inc. at their various facilities. Activities included participation in various remodeling projects, varying from research and manufacturing areas to computer/data processing areas and general office areas. Additional tasks include large scale surveying, studying and documenting the power system, identifying deficiencies and correcting problems. Installation and use of energy efficient lighting and control was extensive throughout these projects. Supplied electrical engineering services for the Universal Medical Buildings. Work consisted of design and specification of multi-story Medical Office Buildings and Ambulatory Care Facilities across the United States. His efforts encompassed as many as twenty of these facilities. Several locations included primary power service and specialty design for surgi-centers with O.R. X-Ray, Magnetic Imaging, and MRI facilities. - 5 -

Contributed to the design for modernizing and upgrading headend power system at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Design included a specification of a new 12,470 volt, dual line electric power service with auto-source transfer characteristics, four new substations with main-tie-main arrangements and separation of existing emergency power system to meet NEC and NFPA essential electrical system requirements - including a specification of a new 300KW diesel standby generator. Furnished the design of electrical facilities associated with the building addition for a structural tube manufacturing process for Welded Tube Company, Chicago, Illinois. Installation entailed double ended substation with transformation from 13.2 KV to 480Y/277V, including modification and expansion of service switchgear and primary feeders to the substations. Designed and developed documents for the electrical facilities for State of Wisconsin Taycheedah Correctional Institution Food Service Building. Project involved expansion of existing underground 4160 volt manhole system, 500 KVA substation with 208Y/120V secondary distribution facilities, emergency generator, lighting, power, telephone, fire alarm, paging, and security systems. Developed construction documents for electrical facilities for Chrysler Motors, Kenosha, involving a 4.0 Engine block line and cam/crank area. Project area was 120,000 square feet and consisted of industrial lighting and 4000 ampere busduct extension to feed the various process machines. Busduct layout included extensive survey work and isometric drawing outlining all required tees, offsets, transitions and benchmarks required for proper installation and ordering of materials. Correlated the design and specification of the 13.8kv medium voltage power line extension at Waukesha County Technical College to serve the fire training area as well as any future buildings. This effort included underground ductbanks, manholes, padmounted switchgear, pad mounted transformer and box pads, and metal enclosed switchgear. Documents included a profile of the duct package to show depths and slopes as well as possible interferences. Designed new 15KV substation to serve Plate and Weld Shop operations for Bucyrus Erie in South Milwaukee, WI. Work involved new outdoor walk-in substation with metal clad power circuit breakers. Rework of primary system for redundant line to substation. Removal of a PCB transformer, retrofitting electro mechanical trip units on existing circuit breakers, and detailing of secondary ties to existing distribution system. Coordinated design efforts for a new 40,000 square foot dry-cleaning facility for Absorbtech, LLC in South Bend, IN. Work involved industrial lighting and power distribution. Specialty process areas required explosion-proof design. Designed the 160,000 sq. ft. electrical facilities for the Serigraph, Inc. Corporate Office and Auto Graphics Printing Plant. Project design included exterior roadway and parking area lighting and control systems, building equopotential ground grid, energy efficient office area lighting, production area HID lighting system design, hazardous location power and lighting, plant paging system, communication/data raceway and cable tray system, underground conduit system layout, power distribution system design including new pad-mount transformer, indoor primary substation and respective panelboard, motor control centers busway and distribution schemes, computer room grounding and EPO system design. - 6 -

Designed and coordinated electrical facilities for General Mitchell International Airport s Regulator Building which is used to power and control the airfield s lighting systems. This project involved twoline utility service to new power operated 24.9 kv indoor pad-mounted switchgear, two 750/100 kva indoor dry-type transformers, and a double ended 480Y/277V metal enclosed switchgear lineup with draw out circuit breakers and auto source transfer capabilities. Design also included general building lighting and power, grounding, underground duct packages, busways, lighting regulators, cable racks, sleeves and supports, fuse cutouts, fire alarm, TVSS, and a 600 kw, 480Y/277V diesel generator for standby power. Coordinated the design of uninterruptible power system (UPS) facilities for data processing centers at the following organizations: Milwaukee Area Technical College: Two-module parallel (N+1) 160 kva UPS, including a 400 kw diesel generator, automatic transfer switches, power distribution units (PDUs), and distribution panelboards. Johnson Controls, Inc. Data Center: Redundant (2N) 400 kva/360 kw UPS, including (2) 600 kw diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, power distribution units (PDUs), transformers, and distribution panels. Rockwell Automation Data Center: Redundant (2N) 650 kva/500 kw UPS, including primary (13,200 volts) substation and feeder connections, static automatic transfer switches, power distribution units (PDUs), and distribution panels. Johnson Controls, Inc Pewaukee Data Center: 225KVA UPS, including a 500KW diesel generator, automatic transfer switches, power distribution units (PDU s), and distribution panelboards. Van Kampen Funds, Oakbrook Terrace Il: Redundant (2N) 225KVA UPS, including a 600KW diesel generator, automatic transfer switches, power distribution units (PDU s), static transfer switches, and distribution panels. Community Care: Redundant 30KVA/24KW UPS, including a 300KW diesel generator, automatic transfer switches, transformers, TVSS, and distribution cabinets. CUNA Mutual Group: Replace 2N 500KVA UPS, system control cabinets, battery disconnects, and battery strings. University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Substation Transformer and Switchgear Replacement. Project included demolition of existing outdoor 25 kv and 5kV substation equipment including transformers, circuit breaker switchgear, capacitor banks, and related cable connections supplying electrical service to the campus. New equipment includes a four-bay lineup of 600A 24.9KV metal-enclosed, medium voltage, air interrupter switchgear, two 7500 KVA pad-mounted transformers, and two seven-bay 1200A 4.16KV lineups of metal-clad, circuit breaker distribution switchgear installed in a sheltered aisle weatherproof house. Milwaukee Public Museum. Electrical Substation Replacement. Developed design to replace existing 13.2KV primary service circuit breaker switchgear, 750KVA lighting substation, and 1000KVA power substation. New design provided replacement of the existing outdated equipment with new state of the art equipment in the same electrical room by means of a step by step procedure which will allow the Museum to continue operations without extensive power interruptions. New equipment included 10 bay lineup of common bus fusible interrupter switchgear with two incoming utility lines and auto transfer scheme to feed new transformers and distribution switchboards. The new system will be more reliable with additional capacity and sectionalizing capability to enhance overall reliability and allow for future growth.
