DeSantis Landscapes introduces Plant Health Care (PHC), a landscape fertilization and spray program that is custom designed to keep your lawn, trees and shrubs healthy, vigorous and pest-free. We offer two levels of PHC service, our eco-friendly EarthSense plan or the cost-effective ValuePlus plan. Both follow the guidance of our staff horticulturist, and focus on improving plant and soil conditions. Protect your landscape investment with DeSantis PHC and see the results for years to come. Contact DeSantis today for a Free PHC Assessment! earthsense A Healthy Landscape, Naturally. EarthSense combines the best organic and biological products and services to improve soil health and protect lawns, shrubs and trees from pests and disease. Specially designed by our staff horticulturist for the Willamette Valley, the long-term benefits of this plan include: + Improved drought tolerance and less water usage + Healthier and deeper root systems + Pest and disease suppression, and + More efficient nutrient uptake. Our expert staff technicians will help determine which treatments are right for your specific landscape needs. Contact us today for a FREE assessment of how DeSantis EarthSense PHC can create a healthy and beautiful landscape. EarthSense is our best practice, earth-friendly PHC program that includes any or all of the following nine (9) services. Each one is customized to benefit your landscape needs: Turf Fertility Description: Application of organic fertilizer to turf areas. Benefits: Promotes thick, lush growth to lawn areas. Applications Included: 8 Dormant Oil/Disease Control Description: A winter-time application of dormant oil and disease suppressant as a preventative measure. Benefits: Helps to control pests and disease during the overwintering and dormant stages to prevent damage from occurring on tender spring growth. Timing: JAN. FEB. Shrub Fertility Description: Application of organic fertilizer to shrub areas. Benefits: Promotes vigorous new growth and blooms on plant material. Timing: FEB. MARCH Spring Insect/Disease Control Description: Organic foliar spray application for insect and disease controls. The application requires specific timing to protect and control actively growing plants in the early parts of the growing season. Benefits: Provides critical plant protection moving into mid-season. Targets damaging insects, mites and diseases that are typical in early to mid-spring. Timing: APRIL JUNE Continued >

earthsense PHC EarthSense Treatments Continued Summer Insect Control Description: Organic foliar spray application for insect control. Benefits: Provides added protection against damaging insects during the summer months further strengthening the health and vigor of the landscape. Timing: JUNE SEPT. Deep Root Fertility Description: Provides an application of nutrients and mycorrhizae injected directly into the tree s root zone to be absorbed and stored for use during spring growth. Benefits: Delivers nutrients directly to the tree s root zone. More nutrients are immediately available to the tree compared to a surface application where much of the plant nutrients can be lost. Mycorrhizae promotes development of a fibrous root system enhancing the absorption of nutrients and water. Timing: NOV. DEC. Compost Tea Description: Spray application of beneficial micro-organisms and bio-stimulants to soil surface. Benefits: Beneficial organisms provide breakdown of nutrients to improve availability to the plant. Best results when used with the turf fertility program. Applications Included: 5 Foliar Feed Description: Organic foliar spray application of nutrients to give landscape a quick green-up. Benefits: Perfect application to be done before parties or events to give your landscape an extra boost. Lawn Aeration and Seeding Description: An annual aeration and over-seeding of your lawn is the best, most cost-effective and environmentally-friendly way to maintain a healthy lawn. Benefits: Because of the heavy clay content of valley soils, compaction is a problem, preventing oxygen from reaching the roots of the grass plants, causing the plants to develop shallow roots and making the plant more susceptible to drought, heat and disease stress. Timing: Recommend SPRING or FALL aeration and over-seeding for all lawns in the Willamette Valley.

value plus Where Big Results Meet Big Value! Our ValuePlus plan is a comprehensive landscape service that provides fertilization and pest controls to your lawn, shrubs or trees at the right time of the year. All nutrients essential for healthy plants are included in our custom-blended applications. Combine these cost-effective products with our outstanding, professional service, and the result is a Plant Health Care program of excellent value. Contact us today for a free assessment of how DeSantis ValuePlus PHC can help you maintain a beautiful and healthy landscape. The ValuePlus PHC plan includes any or all of the following nine (9) services customized to your landscape needs: Turf Fertility Description: Application of fertilizer to turf areas.
