A Sandstone Ballast Retaining Wall with mortared joints laid in a random square pattern creates a stunning backdrop to the Water Feature Acrylic Rendered Walls with 50mm Rock-Faced Sandstone Capping The stepped wall levels provide many seating options for the whole family
These Colorbond TM Water Tanks, were made to size, feed the Integrated Drip Irrigation System and were designed to fit neatly along the service side of the property. Outdoor storage was an important aspect for this family and so a quality Colorbond TM shed was made to fit the space.
Bush Outlook The Landscaped Garden enhanced this lovely bush setting with Retaining Walls and Sandstone Crazy Paving to create a cohesive and relaxing bush outlook
Recycled Brick Garden Wall and stair entry provide transition to the Courtyard. The warm tones of Recycled Bricks are a popular choice. The solution to this difficult grade in a bush setting was to utilise Sandstone Boulders, which retain the upper level terrace to this front garden. Completed by using Eucalypt Leaf Mulch and bordered by Lavender.
This easily maintained backyard provides great views of the bush and functional spaces for the whole family These Sandstone Boulders were hand-picked for their beautiful grain and colour Sandstone Crazy Paving Courtyard This existing Back Lawn was rejuvenated as part of the project
Vantage Point The Landscaped Garden completed this landscaping project on a steep Blue Mountains estate incorporating the huge existing rock shelf. The unusable slope was transformed into various functional areas that took great advantage of the bush views. Large Sandstone Boulder Steps were handpicked and carefully integrated as a winding path with the steep, natural rock shelf to create a transition through the front yard. Decomposed Granite Pathways bordered by Recycled Brick Edging connect the various garden spaces, and compliment the natural tones and textures. The Landscaped Garden provided the structural work for the outdoor spaces, which allowed this young professional couple to develop their garden with plants in their leisure time.

The existing Weathered Sandstone features in this lower area of the Garden The new landscape design - along with the Retaining Walls, Gardens, Terraces and Pathways - had to integrate with a small amount of existing landscaping, as well as the house colour palette and style
50mm Sandstone Crazy Paving Pathway leading from the cellar doors to the Dry Creek Bed Recycled Bricks cleaned to expose their original colours Reconstituted Sandstone Blocks used in the initial construction were utilised in these steps Steps and Walling constructed on the Natural Rock Shelf
A new Dry Creek Bed provides a release point for rainwater overflow. Lucky Stones were laid on a Concrete Base and interplanted with Native Grasses A Small Timber Hardwood Bridge leads toward the Sandstone Steps Sandstone Steps create an unobtrusive path through the bush setting Native grasses (Lomandra Tanika) complete the look
These Decomposed Granite Pathways wind through garden areas and connect garden levels The Hand-picked Sandstone Boulders were carefully placed to allow for future planting The new Merbau Deck creates a warmth at the entry point of the residence The structural integrity of the old front deck had been compromised. New beams and Merbau Decking were installed and oiled to match existing timber work. A complimentary skirting board frames the lower edges of the house walls and colorbond railing was re-installed.

Elements such as the Timber Retaining Walls, Native Plants and Buffalo Lawns were married in with existing gardens. Functional elements such as replacing old sewer pipes and renewing the storm water system reduced the risk of any future problems. We ensured that the overland flow drainage allows for water to be removed from the property.
