All our worktops are rigorously tested and come with a guarantee, so whichever worktop you choose, you can be sure it will stand up to everyday life in your kitchen for years to come. Pre-cut worktops come in a variety of lengths, depths and thicknesses and are ready to take home today. They re ideal for a straight-line kitchen (max. 246 cm) or if you re going to install the worktop yourself. Just remember you need to cut holes for the cooktop, sink and faucet. Available in: laminate, wood and solid wood. acrylic These custom-made worktops are durable and easy to clean. And, with acrylic, you have the option of a fully integrated sink (like the one pictured above). Available custom-made. Custom-made worktops, let you create a kitchen that s perfect for your space. You can order the exact length and depth you need, as well as bar solutions, rounded corners and holes for the sink, faucets and appliances. You can choose factory fitted sinks too. 6 7 LAMINATE Worktops pre-cut Our pre-cut laminate worktops are durable and affordable. They're resistent to scratches and stains and are maintenance free. They come in a range of predetermined combinations of length, depth and thickness as well as a variety of combinations of colour, edge colour and edge shape. Good to know Clean using a soft cloth or sponge and warm water with a mild, nonabrasive detergent. Avoid furniture polish and strong cleaning agents. Scratches and stains are more visible on dark coloured and high-gloss worktops so they require more frequent care. 2.8 Cm straight edge This thinner worktop with straight edges creates a lighter, more modern feel. Edges in a different colour create an exciting contrast. You can cut the worktop to the length you want and cover the edges with the 2 included edging strips. Whichever wood you choose, you ll get a unique and durable work surface that, with a little care, will age gracefully. All our pre-cut solid wood worktops are 2.8 cm thick. Beech is a hard wood with an even grain. It s durable and often used for furniture and worktops. When exposed to sunlight, beech ages from a light red tone to a more rose-brown colour. Birch is fine-grained and pale in colour with a satinlike sheen that darkens with age. It often has knots or heartwood in cream or light brown which will give your worktop a unique and distinct natural look. Oak is a very hard wood, making it a popular choice for worktops and interiors. Its colour ranges from light brown to a rich reddish brown and it darkens with age. Good to know We pretreat all our solid wood worktops to give them a good start at life in your kitchen, but they require occassional care to keep them in good condition. To restore the worktop surface and protect it from stains, apply a wood treatment oil (like BEHANDLA) 3 5 times a year. Areas where the worktop may dry out, such as around the sink and hob, should be treated more often. For daily cleaning use a moist cloth or sponge and some mild detergent and wipe to dry. 14 15 wood worktops pre-cut Our wood worktops have the same look and feel as our solid wood worktops, but require less frequent care. They are pre-treated with hard wax oil and no other treatment is necessary until the surface starts to wear. They're made of particleboard covered with a layer of solid wood, a hardwearing natural material that can be sanded and treated when needed. It's also better for the environment because we use less wood in the production process. 3.8 Cm MÖLLEKULLA The full plank design of MÖLLEKULLA gives an authentic plank expression with a genuine wood feeling. Every worktop is unique, boasting varying grain patterns and natural colour shifts that are part of the charm of wood. The worktop's plank expression is enhanced by the design on the edges. Two edging strips are included so you can finish the edges if you make your own cuts. Whether it's a lot of food prep, hand washing glassware or just giving your plates a quick rinse before the dishwasher, we've got a sink to suit your needs. Most of our sinks are reversible, so you can choose which way to install them. So, if you choose an asymmetric double bowl sink, you can have the larger bowl on the left or right. 20 21 sinks How you choose your sink is closely tied with how you d like to use it. A large single bowl is great for washing big pots for example, while a double bowl is practical to do two things at once (like washing up and prepping food.) A sink with a drainer is helpful if you hand wash often, and works well keeping liquids off your worktop too. Most of our sinks are reversible and don t have a pre-drilled hole for the tap so you can position them to suit you. You can use our FIXA tool kit to make a make a hole for your tap (see page 25).
