Having served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2007, I am proud to be associated with the company. milestones The company was founded by Cobus Coetzee and Ken Cartwright. We acquired factory floor space totaling 2,000 square metres. We started a hostel furniture division. To date, we have furnished 7,800 hostel rooms. The factory today. 2007 51% l of the company was bought by VUWA INVESTMENTS, a black-owned company headed by Executive Chairman Bulelani Nguka. 2009 We doubled up on machinery and increased our floor space to 5,700 square metres. B-BBEE Certificate. We completed a 3-year office furniture contract, valued at R36 million, for the Eastern Cape Department of Education. 2016 We opened a timber laminating factory, with brand new, imported equipment. Stock in the new laminating plant. Stock awaiting delivery is valued at R12 million. - 6 -

workforce We currently employ exactly 100 permanent staff members and 40 contract workers. 90% of our original workforce is still with us. 2 staff members have retired, and 3 are deceased. Our staff members belong to the Allied Workers Union, and the Unions for Workers in the Chemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood, and Allied Workers Union. This is for a caption.
