Flexible predrying station or dryer for tiny material quantities drying station is available with detachable drying s in 0,5 50 liters size. The s are hermetically sealed and can be docked to the drying station by slide system. After the drying time elapsed, the drying s can be detached and transported to the production area by means of a trolley. Basing on the modular construction, the drying station is individually selectable. The option of Micro (M) type with glass drying s (0,5-5,0 liter) or Turbo (T) level with stainless steel drying s (15-50 liter) is possible. A combined module (MT) is also available. Functional principle Trolley After the drying time elapsed, the hermetically sealed drying s can be easily transported to the production area by means of the trolley. Processing machine The drying box, filled with dried material, can be attached to the feeding zone of an injection moulding machine by means of sliding rail. Keeping material dry while processing A steady state dryer unit is placed on the injection moulding machine. The drying box, filled with pre-dried resin, is attached by means of sliding rail. Filling of drying boxes with material The filling from a material is possible manually or using a compressed air based hopper loader, which is placed on cover.

Convincing technical equipment Dew point measuring Material data base dryer is equipped with an integrated precision dew point measuring device optionally to control the dry air quality up to -50 C, thus enabling an optimal drying result. This measuring system has proved a virtual accuracy in long-time testing. Overdrying protection All important polymer types are included in this data base. The dryer will be optimally adjusted to the selected polymer type. The polymer spedific and flow rate based adjustment makes the drying precise and energy saving. It is, of course, possible to store also user-speficic polymers drying paramaters. Energy efficiency 24h service Upon receipt of notice of failure and clarification of the actual situation with HELIOS service department (Monday 8.00 Friday 12.00 h), the necessary spare part will be sent to the customer by UPS within 24 h. When the set drying time has passed, the system control reduces the drying temperature and the dry air volume flow to a safe level protecting the material against thermal damaging. The dryer unit protects the material until the next taking. Weekday timer ENERGIE EFFIZIENZ G A R A N T The WINsystem dryers are spending as much compressed air and heating energy only as exactly necessary for the drying task by means of the HELIOS data base, which is optimally adjusting the dryer polymer type specifically, the HELIOS digital pneumatic with its high-precision dry air volume flow adjustment, the exact temperature control and the overdrying protection. This is why HELIOS is able to grant the energy efficiency. Software for documentation I E No need for maintenance WINsystem dryers are maintenancefree generally. Possibly requested spare parts can be easily replaced by the customers. Only the filters have to be replaced precautionary or if required. WINsystem dryer units can be interlinked via CAN-BUS. It is possible to program, control and document all the drying units from a PC or IPC touch panel by means of the HELIOCONTROL software. A certified manufacturer s calibration is issued with all WINsystem dryers upon delivery to cover 2 drying temperatures, 3 drying air volume flows and 2 dew point values. This certified calibration can be later made repeatedly either locally or with HELIOS.
