Clino Guard plus intelligent system, cleverly integrated Transmitter unit Nurse call server and other systems Receiver unit Transponders Transmitter unit Central control unit Station Functions of Clino Guard plus (exact localization and identification) Real-time location system Clino Guard plus essentially consists of three components: the location system hardware (receiver and transmitter units), the software and the RFID transponders. Communication between the transponders and the receiver units is bidirectional and facilitates localization in real time. The transmitter units transfer position information to the transpon ders. The transponders then transmit this information and their own unique ID to the receiver unit. The Clino Guard plus software contains escalation routines that allow several different alarm scenarios. To cover larger areas up to 375 m 2, several slave units are simply added to a master transmitter unit. 790P420 Transponder for the dementia patient Transponder for patients with dementia, to be worn on the wrist. Transponder is actuated if it enters the permanent LF field of a transmitter unit. The transponder processes the transmitter unit ID and transmits this ID to the receiver unit together with its own transponder ID. The battery status is also transmitted. Transmission range up to 25 m, dependent on ambient conditions. 790P421 Transponder for the patient alarm As part no. 790P420, but also has an alarm button. Patient can activate an alarm, even on the move. Alarm is acknowledged via the integral LED. 790P422 Transponder for baby As part no. 790P420, but specially designed for monitoring a baby. Use in conjunction with an associated mother transponder for alarm suppression. 790P423 Transponder for mother As part no. 790P420, but specially designed to be worn by a mother whose baby is wearing the baby transponder. The alarm can only be suppressed if the mother transponder which has been assigned to a baby transponder enters the permanent LF field of a transmitter unit. 15
790P424 Transponder for care giver As part no. 790P420, but specially designed to be worn by a nurse. Also fitted with a confirmation button. The alarm can be suppressed if a patient transponder enters the permanent LF field of a transmitter unit in conjunction with the staff transponder. The confirmation button also enables the nurse to suppress an alarm even outside the LF field of the receiver unit by setting the receiver unit to inactive. Button confirmation is acknowledged via the integral LED. 790P425 Transponder for surveillance The calibration transponder is used during commissioning of the Clino Guard plus system, specifically to detect and establish the radio range of the transmitter units. The LED integrated into the transponder lights up when the wearer enters the LF field. The LED goes out when the wearer leaves the radio range of the transmitter unit. An acoustic acknowledgement in the receiver unit is triggered by pressing a button on the calibration transponder. The transponder can be used during commissioning of Single-door transponder systems for assignment of transmitter and receiver units. 16
790P426 Bracelet (velcro) for transponder Bracelet to enable a transponder to be worn on the wrist. Can be reused many times thanks to the easy-to-open velcro fastener, specifically designed to attach the transponder to the wrist. 790P427 Bracelet (rubber) for transponder Rubberized bracelet to enable a transponder to be worn on the wrist. Clino Guard easy installation, reliable protection Clino Guard combines safety and freedom of movement, especially for people suffering from dementia. The transmitter / receiver units can be installed in just about any place to provide unobtrusive protection: near the door area, indoors or outdoors. The detection area is between 3.5 and 6 m; this can be extended using additional aerials and ground contacts, if needed. Intelligent and reliable detection The use of different resting and operating frequencies (125 khz / 868 MHz) and three-dimensional aerials guarantees reliable detection and data transmission. The system also recognizes automatically when a patient is accompanied by a nurse and does not trigger an alarm. Consisting of an antenna unit (868 MHz operating frequency, 125 khz stand-by frequency), an evaluation unit with relay contacts (changeover), integrated alarm signaling device, and 230 V power supply (integrated). Expandable with a relay card for zone identification and an additional external antenna (if necessary also via reproducer). 790P137 Relay card Locator / receiver unit The active transponder system can be expanded by the relay card for identification of several persons or groups. Up to five persons or groups can be differentiated. For example, the outputs can be used for connection to the nurse call system in order to generate dedicated alarms in the respective station.
