ABOUT WINTONS TEAK Wintons Teak is a company that designs, manufactures, distributes and retails premium outdoor furniture. The name Wintons was derived from the names of the two brothers who established Wintons Teak, and still run the company today. With more than 20 years of wood processing and manufacturing experience, Edwin and Anton focus on creating quality pieces of outdoor furniture that set them apart from the rest. The silver grey patina is oxidised oil that rises up to the surface of the timber. It occurs after 18 months in the weather. It is natural oil that preserves and protects the timber from rotting. Removing the patina is as simple as soft bristled scrubber with a solution of laundry detergent and warm water.
