It can be re-terminated and is suitable for use with industry standard fiber cable or ribbon fiber innovations. MT-RJ SECURE Optical Fiber Cabling System Tyco Electronics MT-RJ SECURE Optical Fiber Cabling System offers all the features and benefits of the standard MT-RJ System with an extra advantage for network security. Today s facilities often employ more than one network and need a measure of mechanical security to limit access and prevent inadvertent cross-connection. The MT-RJ SECURE Cabling System features molded slots on the plug and molded keys on the latching jack to reduce the chance of unauthorized connections. There are four key-slot combinations - each color-coded - to assist identification of the correct jack. Simply stated, the plug and jack Fiber Optic Products Catalog colors must match or the keying will prevent them from carrying the signal. MT-RJ SECURE plugs will only mate with the same color MT-RJ Secure Jacks.
