ThyssenKrupp Nirosta,000 m² of social rooms ThyssenKrupp Nirosta is one of the world s leading manufacturers of non-corroding flat steel products and offers a widely diverse range of qualities, dimensions and finishes. The company produces more than one million tons of product in total, employs a workforce in excess of,600 and generates revenues of more than Euro.8 billion, making it one of the leaders in the market for flat stainless steel products. The Dillenburg site is equipped with high-performing and specialised production facilities. For example, a new bright annealing system complete with integrated multi-processing line, commenced operation on the site in 999. The continuing growth and stringent quality stipulated by ThyssenKrupp Nirosta always demand the very best from the 750 members of staff, and the strong team consistently rises to the challenge. Which is why the company wanted the new staff house to exude an aura of quality, professionalism and harmony. Exterior view of ThyssenKrupp Nirosta s staff house in Dillenburg. Interior view of one of the men s changing rooms. Special tubular frames between the brick plinths and locker housings allow for optimum height adjustment. From a single source: Even the ceiling panels in the shower areas are part of a complex furnishing concept. The support pillars and downpipes are covered with stainless steel blanking panels with integrated waste containers. The floor fastening concept and silicone seals on the stainless steel benches are the perfect solution to ensure thorough cleaning by wet cleaning machines.
ThyssenKrupp Nirosta The task C+P manufactured all of the cupboards, benches and ceiling panels from stainless steel from Thyssen- Krupp Nirosta to meet the highest standards in terms of design and functionality. This stainless steel is a material with extraordinary properties. For example the linen texture used on the fronts is particularly hard-wearing. But the scope for design is even more exciting for a complete system supplier. One particularly appealing aspect is the possibility of combining top quality materials to further enhance the overall appearance. The warm shade of the wooden blanking panel at the front emphasises the cool elegance of the stainless steel and enhances the brilliance of the mirrors. The mirrors are not made of glass; they were manufactured using ThyssenKrupp Nirosta stainless steel with a Mirror super polish finish. Many of the staff contributed good ideas and personal commitment to ensure the success of the project. So it is not surprising that identification of the staff with their company is also reflected in the new staff house. Is there any way to create more corporate identity? For me, the most exciting aspect of this project was to shape such a complex furnishing concept using the customer s material to create an overall integrated solution with all of the technical sophistication demanded by the customer. We are all absolutely inspired by the result! Olaf Struck, C+P Project Manager 5

ThyssenKrupp Nirosta With an eye for detail Instead of just complying with the basic requirements, C+P always strives to offer added value in terms of comfort, design and functionality. The furnishing concept for ThyssenKrupp Nirosta in Dillenburg is a good example of this. The ventilation concept, for example, does not just ensure even distribution of the air; it also elegantly conceals the ventilation duct for the lockers in the slanted roof. The HPL elements down the side not only serve to frame the mirrors; they are also used to mount the label holders, while the attractive beech decor enhances the overall appearance of the room. The interior fittings in the locker compartments are not restricted to just hat shelf, coat rail + hooks ; they include a range of useful and intelligent accessories - ranging from shower gel holder to shoe tray. The works fire brigade cannot afford to waste any time when an emergency calls. They must be able to remove their protective clothing quickly and without hindrance. Personal valuables must be stored safely, despite the enormous urgency. The fire service lockers not only look good; their intelligent design really proves its worth in a hectic emergency situation. 6 7 8 7
