The ECO feature allows the system to operate at a lower speed, using less wattage when solar insolation is low the unit will lower the compressor speed until the solar insolation increases. 5 2015 CLIMA-TEKNOLOGIES, LLC

Special Functions Refrigerant Leak Detection With this new technology, if the outdoor unit detects refrigerant leakage the display area will show code EC, the indication lamps continue flashing until the problem is resolved. Louver Angle Memory Function Within the scope of safety, the unit will memorize the open angle of the horizontal louver. If it exceeds it, the unit will return to the standard angle by pressing the manual switch, or removing power to the unit. We strongly suggest that the open angle of the horizontal louver should not be set too small, condensed water could form and drip from the horizontal louver. Anti- mildew function When the unit is turned off in Cool, Dry, or Auto (Cool) mode, the air conditioner will continue operating for about 7-10 minutes at low fan speed. If it turns off in HEAT mode, the unit will continue operating for about 30 seconds at LOW fan speed. This will help dry the condensed water inside the evaporator, and prevent the growing of mildew. Under Anti- mildew operation, do not restart the air conditioner until the unit is completely off. Vertical swing function After the AC starts up, users can control the vertical louver swing by using the remote controllers swing direct button. 6 2015 CLIMA-TEKNOLOGIES, LLC

ACDC12(B) SLC Remote Manual V3.1 Handling the remote controller Location of the remote controller Use the remote controller within a distance of 8 meters from the appliance, pointing it towards the receiver. Reception is confirmed by a beep. Keep the remote controller where its signals can reach the receiver of the unit. CAUTIONS The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other materials block the signals from the remote controller to the indoor unit. Prevent any liquid from falling into the remote controller. Do not expose the remote controller to direct sunlight or heat. If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not function properly. Use curtains to prevent the sunlight from falling on the receiver. If other electrical appliances react to the remote controller, relocate or block the infrared signal. Replacing batteries The remote controller is powered by two dry batteries (R03/LR03X2) housed in the rear part and protected by a cover. (1) Remove the cover by pressing and sliding off. (2) Remove the old batteries and insert the new batteries, placing the (+) and (- ) ends correctly. (3) Reattach the cover by sliding it back into position. NOTE: When the batteries are removed, the remote controller erases all programming. After inserting new batteries, the remote controller must be reprogrammed. CAUTIONS Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types. Do not leave the batteries in the remote controller if they are not going to be used for 2 or 3 months. Do not dispose batteries as unsorted municipal waste. 2015 Clima- Teknologies Inc. 17
