The Mambo Room at Catalyst Ranch Mambo Like You Mean It! The Mambo Room is filled with plenty of positive vibes and will immediately lift your spirits. As one of our mid-sized rooms with 1,100 sq. ft. of meeting space, the room is decked out with beautiful cherry wood floors, plenty of sunlight and happy blue and green tones. Enjoy a cup of coffee or have a small group breakout session in the sunny couch grouping nestled by the windows or in one of the other three breakout groupings. The room is typically used by groups of 12 20 people which allows for a central presentation area as well as breakout areas. There is ample wall space to hang up flipchart paper (the artwork comes off as requested) in addition to a nail strip at the front of the room where we can hang flipchart pads and our customized plasticore sheets to create even more wall space to suit your needs. The open floor plan allows for flexible and tailored room set-ups with lots of space for flip charts, rolling dry erase boards and an LCD projector & screen. The in-room beverage station will remind you of a children s play kitchen. It s stocked with vintage glasses and colorful mugs, an assortment of teas and big pots of free-trade coffee. The mini-fridge may not be vintage but it is constantly replenished and keeps drinks cold. The average size group for the Mambo Room is 12-20 people. Total space in this room is 1,100 square feet. About Catalyst Ranch Catalyst Ranch was the first venue in Chicago to realize that the results of any offsite meeting can be enhanced if attendees are placed in the right environment. In 2002 we started with the concept of what our own ideal working environment would be and then coupled with extensive research, experience and pure gut instinct, created a pioneering and innovative boutique conference center in Chicago s burgeoning West Loop. We broke some rules, no doubt about that! We found it takes more than a utilitarian room, some tables and chairs, notepads, pens and A/V equipment to hold an effective meeting.
