GETINGE GEW 2100LS CAGE AND RACK WASHER PREVENTING CONTAMINATION IN ANIMAL CARE
GETINGE GEW 2100LS 3 CLEAN CAGES, RACKS AND BOTTLES WITH CONFIDENCE Repeatable results for your peace of mind Animal care facilities and research laboratories can generate all sorts of dirty cages, carts, utensils and bottles. Cleaning them to exacting, predictable standards is critical for running a sound research operation or veterinary business. The Getinge GEW 2100LS Cage and Rack Washer is designed to handle a variety of cleaning jobs and meet your strictest hygiene requirements. The large capacity, heavy-duty, hydro-cleaning chamber provides programmable cleaning modes, simple operation, and reliable performance all backed by Getinge s industry-leading reputation for quality.
4 GETINGE GEW 2100LS DESIGNED FOR EFFICIENCY, PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY Easy loading, unloading and viewing Just roll in a rack, choose a cycle and press Start. Our unique door design makes it easy to load soiled items into one side and unload clean items from the other. Inflatable door gaskets provide a secure seal while the double-pane, safety glass port allows you to view cycles from both sides of the chamber. Simply load soiled materials on a wash rack, choose from several programmable cycles, and unload clean items from the other side. Innovative chamber design Exclusive jet-spray manifold reaches all surfaces, including the undersides of shelves and base of racks. Six gross debris filters are mounted beneath floor panels with easy access for cleaning. A self-cleaning fine mesh filter collects smaller debris. Removable rails prevent loads from contacting jet nozzles and keep loads from shifting during power floor tilt. Top-mounted filling valve protects potable water from cross-contamination. External heat exchanger quickly elevates and maintains water temperature for programmed cycle. Superior operating efficiency Direct spray action and low-positioned jets reach all surfaces: no water deflected off ceiling to reach IVC plenums like other industry products. Say goodbye to stationary floor spray nozzles that wash only a few spots on the underside of loads. More usable chamber height: 96" (2439 mm) chamber washes more products and taller products than standard 85" (2159 mm) washers. Field-installable options: no need to replace the washer when your facility needs change. Most options can be installed on-site without excessive modification.
GETINGE GEW 2100LS 5 Floor design Load racks on a level surface, free of wheel tracks, drainage grates or raised couplings. On floor-mounted units, an inclined entry ramp is required. Nozzle design Oscillating jet nozzles continuously wash items from both sides of the chamber. Nozzles are easily removed for replacement or cleaning. Hydrogen peroxide vapor (HPV) bio-decontamination option Heat-sensitive equipment such as computers, laminar flow benches, lab instruments and vacuum packed consumables may be bio-decontaminated with the HPV option. Connections are provided for attachment of an HPV generator which controls the process. The washer control system provides all necessary door security controls and chamber conditioning. Note: this option is compliant with International Standard IEC 61010-2-040 which regulates safety features of equipment that use hazardous sterilants.
6 GETINGE GEW 2100LS SEVEN TREATMENT phases A cleaning cycle typically includes seven phases: a pre-wash, two wash phases, three rinses, and an exhaust phase to remove vapor (forced hot-air drying is optional). With our Agent Saver feature, soak times during wash phases can be programmed for up to 60 minutes to allow the cleaning agent to work on the load. Depending on your needs, you have ultimate flexibility to design cycles to fit your exact requirements, making sure your cycle times are as short or as long as needed. Built-in efficiency Optional wash solution saving tanks and effluent cooldown tank reduce consumable usage and speed processing time. Economical sump tank holds 30 gallons (114 liters) of water. Length of wash and rinse cycles guaranteed at defined programmed temperatures. Option to reuse rinse water, reducing cycle consumption by 30 gallons (114 liters). Optional power floor tilt to speed drying time. Dry loads quickly and shorten cycle times With our optional dryer, fresh air is steam-heated, not recirculated, to avoid cross-contamination. A fan forcefully circulates heated air through multiple ports to reduce drying time and reach all surfaces in the chamber. Our dryer is designed to reach peak temperatures in seconds, with phase times and temperatures programmable from 0 to 60 minutes. With our optional power floor tilt, the floor will raise on one side to drain excess water and further enhance drying.
GETINGE GEW 2100LS 7 EASY MONITORING, PROGRAMMABLE OPERATION Getinge s Control System monitors all system functions and puts you in charge. You can define load and processing requirements including: cycle times, temperatures and other key values. All parameters are password-protected for your security needs. Our Personal Safety System enables you to terminate all processing and activates visual and audible alarms. Large touchscreen controls with 6" color display Built-in safety monitoring On-demand, real-time process cycle performance 20 programmable cycles Cycle deviations recorded and printed (optional) Online service diagnostics (optional) Electrical disconnect switch Automatic sump water level control Easy operation while wearing gloves Standard features Large processing chamber: 46" W x 96" H x 93" L (1169 x 2439 x 2362 mm) 237 cubic feet (6.7 cubic meters) Illuminated and durable 304 (EN 1.4301) stainless steel chamber with level floor Seven-phase treatment cycle with high-volume/ high-pressure wash Energy-efficient external heat exchanger Self-cleaning debris filter Double-door pass-through Economical washer sump Water saver cycles Personal safety system Micro-computer control system Options Installation Floor or pit mounted Free-standing unit Trim and finishing panels Stainless steel service enclosure Cross-contamination panels Supply voltage 3-phase, 60 Hz, with 208, 230, 460, and 575 volt options or 50 Hz 400 volt Three-phase supply transformer Tanks Detergent saving tanks (one or two) with optional heating element and temperature probe Cooldown tank with cold water mix or chilled water coil Spray systems Hot water boost (steam-heated units only) Non-recirculated final rinse with hot water boost (steam-heated units only) Manifold cart floor docking Automatic water rack flush Controls Enhanced communications Printer Monitored ph neutralizing Equipment Electrically heated unit Single door unit Dryer Power floor tilt Metric connection package Pipe insulation package Seismic anchor package Air compressor Exhaust fan (non-hpv units only) Vapor condenser (non-hpv units only) Hydrogen peroxide vapor capability
