1. General recommendations 1. Magnetic polishing machine type PM-200 is designed for polishing details that require finishing in inaccessible places. 2. It is recommended for the polishing machine to be used by only one, relatively two working shifts- operators, who are responsible for technical condition. Careful usage as well as professional maintenance will allow the machine to be always ready for operation. 3. It is required that technical operations, described in the following instruction, are carried systematically. 4. Minor defects should be recognized and then immediately repaired, which will prevent future expensive and long-term repairs. Before operating the machine, make sure you know and follow these rules: Keep the machine and the work stand clean. After work wipe the machine with dry cloth. Check container condition every day. Run daily technical inspection every day. Before work familiarize with operating instruction and strictly follow the recommendations. 2. Technical data Power supply Instaled power Rotational speed Dimensions Weight Noise level Maximum details weight 230V; 50Hz 0,25 kw 2800 1/min 250x250x290mm 13,5kg 55-60dB 200g

3.1. Control panel 2 1 Fig. 2 Control Panel 1 Main switch 2 TA040 timer 4. Transport In car transport the PM-200 polisher should be transported in vertical position. Polisher should be secured from shifting during transport. In case of an open transport, make sure the polisher is covered against rain. Transportation of the equipment and machinery through the production hall, can be realized by one person. 4.1. Foundation The polisher must be set on a hardened, leveled ground. It is requested that stand is equipped with good lighting conditions and proper power supply.

5. Installation Plug the polisher to electricity grid voltage of 230V, 50-60 Hz, level the machine with 4 adjustable legs, place the container on top of the machine. 6. Starting the machine Principle of the polishing machine work. Polishing takes place in container and is acquired by intensive stream-abrasive contact of details and needles in compound. Rotating magnetic disc makes the micro needles rotate in container by means of magnetic forces. Disc is placed inside casing and is propelled by electric motor. PM-200 polisher start cycle. Prepare compound with needles inside contained, add details, turn on the machine (main switch), set work time on TA040 timer. (see pt 6.1). Recommended input proportions: details about 200g, micro needles about 60g, water - about 500 ml, compound about 5 ml. 6.1. TA-040 instruction manual After connecting the machine to electricity grid, the remainder of the process will appear on the main display (1) and recently implemented program number on the dispaly (2) (eg:>>1<<). Clock allows you to save a persistent memory of 10 different time schedules. To make changes to the program set, press the START key for 3 seconds. The first step is to select the program number you wish to change or re-programmed. Press cursor (up) or (down) until the program you wish to change appears on display (2). Press the START button (7). On the main display, on the position of hour, display will flash e.g.: "02".05. Set the number of hours by cursors (up) and (down). Then press the START key and hold it for few seconds. On the position of minute, display will flash 02 "05". Set the number of minutes by cursors (up) and (down) and confirm the value by START button. This will automatically save the set value in driver memory. To start the machine, select the cursor (up) or (down) on the appropriate program number. Than press the START button. Confirmation of the controller response is shining LED (3) and the flashing dots 02».«05. The set time will be counted down from the set value to 0. To correct the set time, during the operation, press the STOP button this will stop the machine - make adjustments in the same way as for setting the time.

Press START to temporarily stop the machine and to restart it. This operation can be performed multiple times during the cycle. Pressing the STOP button during operation will stop the machine while resetting a specified time. After countdown of the set time the device will stop and the display will show previously set time. In the case of power failure, the machine stops. According to current standards, the operator must restore the machine to work himself. It should be noted that the machine starts with a small delay (ok.2s) - this is needed for certain processes. In the case of co-operation of the clock with the controls, where inverter is installed, it is possible to display 2 different error messages: ER1 shows the compound sensor error (not liquid), ER2 indicates an inverter error. In both cases, the device should be disconnected from the mains, remove the cause of the error and restart the machine. 2 1 3 7 6 4 5 1. Main display 2. Program numer display 3. 7. Polishing process Polishing takes place in container and is acquired by intensive stream-abrasive contact of details and needles in compound. Container lid have vent holes. Rotating magnetic disc makes the micro needles rotate in container by means of magnetic forces. Disc is placed inside casing and is propelled by electric motor. For longer time of stoppage carefully clean with water and dry the machine. Remarks and reservations: Do not let the machine work dry. It might cause abrasion of the container or melting. Level the machine before work. Attention! Machine should be placed far from devises vulnerable to magnetic field. Do not place on the machine parts of steel or ferromagnetics. Do not use opened containers. Container lid must have vent holes. In case of emergency plug out the machine from grid and inform supervisor. It is necessary to check every day the container for signs of melting or abrasion. After work remove the container from the top of the machine. For longer time of stoppage carefully clean with water and dry the machine. 8. Electrical diagram PM-200 M1- electric motor WG- main switch TA-040- timer T- thermal switch M- 12V DC fan

9. Assessment with regard to industrial safety 9.1. Introduction 9.1.1. The aim of the drawing up Work on the assessment of the polishing machine type PM-200 for polishing precise elements as far as Industrial Safety is concerned, have been conducted in order to pass The CE Declaration of Conformity with the 2006/42/WE Directive as well as with the Polish Harmonized Standards regarding Industrial Safety. The structure of the device has been analyzed with regard to construction conformity with the current law and with the effectiveness of the security system as well as the probability of a risk. 9.1.2. Legal base When evaluating the machine guided by the requirements of the following provisions: European Parliament and European Council 2006/42/WE of 17 May 2006 the laws of the Member States relating to machinery. European Parliament and Council Directive 2004/108/WE 15 December 2004 the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility. 9.2. Technical characteristics Machine construction is light and compact casing. All rotating elements are inside casing. Control panel and main switch are placed on face of the casing The control systems together with the blockings guarantee safe work of the magnetic polishing machine. During the technological process a worker operating the magnetic polishing machine has the opportunity of a visual control of the working area. 9.3. Description of the risk Accident and health risk may be caused by the following noxious and dangerous agents occurring with the work connected with operating the machine. Service-repair works Electric shock 9.3.1. Means of protection against risks After the inspection of the disc polishing machine, it has been proved that the producer has used the following means of protection against risks: 1. A worker operating the disc polishing machine has the opportunity of a visual control of the working area. Taking into consideration the technology of work and the scale of the risks, the operator comply certain health requirements and undergo a special training in order to get machine operating qualifications. The access to moveable driving elements (rotating elements of the belt transmission and elements of the working chamber rotor) is limited by a still shield of the transmission casing and by the casing of the cleaning chamber. The working cleaning chamber remains still ( does not rotate). 2. After an unexpected power cut and then after power supply is back the polisher automatically returns to the working mode, as this case does not carry any risk 3. All the service- repair activities must be conducted after previous stoppage of the machine and turning off the power supply. 4. The solutions regarding the construction of the work stand of the operator, the control buttons workspace meet the requirements of the Polish norms in this matter. 5. The electrical system meets the safety requirements against the electric shock. More detailed instructions regarding safe use and operation of the machine are included the instruction manual for the polishing machine. in 9.3.2. Further notice and reccomendations The user is obliged to : Before admitting an employee to operate the machine, the employer is due to train them in safe machine operation and inform of the occupational risk connected with operating the machine. Work out an operation and industrial safety instruction and make it available to the employee.
