They offer explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof and watertight protection to meet both NEC and CEC Class I, Division 1 standards. They re ready to be wired and are commonly used to furnish protection and control of electrical equipment in hazardous locations. CLASS I, DIVISION 1 & 2 EWP SERIES FACTORY SEALED PANELBOARD The compact EWP Series designed for use in Class I and Class II, Division 1 manufacturing and processing environments offers superior protection against explosion where ignitable vapors, gases or combustible dusts are present. EWP is factory sealed. No external branch sealing fittings are needed (except for Division 1 Groups B and C). They are designed for Class I, Division 2 areas where flammable gases or vapors may be present and offer protection and control of electrical apparatus and circuits in hazardous, wet and corrosive environments. The panelboard features a compact design and comes factory sealed without the need for external branch seal fittings.
