ARLESEY CONSULTATION QUESTIONNAIRE Arlesey Welcome to the first public exhibition in relation to the outline masterplan proposals for development at land at Chase Farm and land west and north-east of High Street, Arlesey Arlesey. This exhibition is a fact finding exercise intended to inform and direct the further development of a masterplan for the site. We are seeking your views on a number of issues so that these can be taken into consideration as the Railway Site Site A507 Stotfold plans evolve. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be consulting Arlesey with members of the local community and local residents, as well as officers of Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) Fairfield Park and other interested parties and statutory consultees, over the future of the site. Land at Arlesey accords with CBC s Adopted Local Development Framework Core Strategy (2009) and Site Allocations (2011) Development Plan Documents (DPDs) as land suitable for a residential-led, mixed use development to meet the District s future housing and employment needs. There is a requirement to create a high quality environment with enhanced amenity provision for the town. CBC s Adopted Core Strategy and Site Allocations DPDs were subject to extensive consultation. Following today s event, consultation responses will be collected and used in the development of outline masterplan proposals. The masterplan will be consulted upon through Stakeholder Group Meetings, Workshops and a second Public Exhibition. The outline masterplan proposals will set out how the land could be developed in the future. Your views, along with those of statutory consultees will, in due course, be included in a statement of community involvement that will be submitted alongside an outline planning application. Please tell us what you think. So that we can register your response, please fill in your name and address details. All personal information supplied will be held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your contact details will be used solely in relation to consultation on these proposals and we will not make any personal details public without seeking express permission.
