1 Place the Base (1)upside down as shown. ttach a Foot () in each corner of the base using two screws (). 1 ttach the Drip Pan (3) to the base using four screws (). 3 4

Place the Right Rear Support (6) over the left rear bracket on the base as shown so that the support leans in towards the center of the base. 6 3 Locate the Rear Glass (8) and Right Front Support (7). With one hand insert the glass into the Right Rear Support (6) and with the other hand insert the Right Front Support (7) onto the right side of the glass. Then place the Right Front Support (7) over the corresponding bracket on base. Both supports and glass should be leaning toward the center of the base when complete. 8 7 Locate the Left Rear Support (5) and Side Glass (9). With one hand insert the Side Glass (9) into the slit on Right Rear Support (6). With the other hand, place the Left Front Support (5) onto the Side Glass (9) and set over the corresponding bracket on the base. Hinges on Left Rear Support (5) should face the center of the Base. 5 9 6 4 5

5 Locate the Left Front Support (4) and the Side Glass (9). With one hand place the Side Glass (9) into the slit in the Right Front Support (7) and with the other hand place the Left Front Support (4) onto the Side Glass (9). Set the Front Right Support down over the bracket on the base. Loosely attach each support to the base using one screw () per support. 4 9 7 6 Locate the Hood (11) and align the top so that the round section of the hood faces to the front of the unit. 11 Place the Hood (11) on the unit so all four brackets fit inside each support. ttach each corner of the Hood (11) to each support (4, 5, 6 and 7) using one screw () per support. Tighten all screws. 5 6 4 7 6

ttach the Door Glass (10) to the hinges on the Left Rear Support (5). Place a rubber washer on both sides of the holes in the Door Glass (10). 7 Insert the cap into the hole in the glass and attach with a screw (B). B cap 10 Insert troughs (1) into the openings in the base. 8 1 1 7

9 Place Logs (13,14 and 15) onto the base. Place logs in line with the openings in the base as shown. fter placing the three logs spread out the Lava Rock (17) to cover the rest of the base. NOTE: Make sure you remove any lava rocks that fall into the troughs. You can pull the snuffer closed to avoid spilling lava rock into the troughs. 17 13 15 14 8

Using The Fuel With the troughs placed in the unit fill each trough to the top of the post in the trough or 3/4 from the lip of the trough. 10 CLEN UP NY SPILLED FUEL PRIOR TO LIGHTING. Lighting Use a long match or extended lighter to ignite fuel. Real Flame Ventless Fireplace Fuel NOTE Finish filling troughs and replace cap on fuel container before attempting to light the unit. (Logs and lava rock in diagram have been removed for clarity.) 11 djustment & Extinguishing You may adjust the flames simply by pulling the damper out part way with tool until desired intensity is reached. Using with damper partially open will result in a longer burn time, while a fully open damper will provide a larger flame. Closed To Extinguish Pull damper handle outward as shown until it reaches it's stopping point and flames go out. Leave closed for 10-15 seconds to ensure flames have been fully extinguished. NEVER LEVE NY FIRE UNTTENDED Care and Cleaning Before attempting to clean the fireplace or remove the troughs make sure the fireplace has completely cooled down. Remove trough by hooking the post in the center of the trough with the scraper tool s hook end. Carefully lift straight upward and out of the base. 10

Care and Cleaning - continued Burn troughs should be cleaned every two to three burns. This can be done with the included scraper tool. - LLOW TROUGH TO COOL COMPLETELY (0 minutes) BEFORE TTEMPTING TO CLEN. - Using edge of tool, carefully scrape away any residue from sides and bottom of trough. - Residue should be thrown away in the trash. When the fireplace is not in use it should be covered by the black cover that is included with this unit. Make sure that the fireplace is completely cooled down before attempting to cover. standard household glass cleaner can be used to clean the glass parts of the fireplace. damp rag and mild soap can be used to clean the body of the fireplace and the logs. 11

Warranty & Return Policies Warranty Jensen Metal Products, Inc., doing business as Real Flame, warrants Real Flame vent-less fireplaces and accessories to be free from defects in parts and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. In the event of such defects Real Flame will, at its option, replace the defective product or refund the purchase price. The foregoing is the exclusive remedy and Real Flame disclaims all other warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Real Flame will not be responsible for consequential damages in excess of the purchase price of the product on which such liability is based. Electric fireplaces carry a one-year warranty on the electric firebox only. Return Policy You may return your purchase within 90 days of receipt. No refunds will be issued for incomplete or unauthorized returns. ll returned products must be 100% complete, adequately packaged in original packaging and in resalable condition. Products that have been assembled or modified will not be eligible for return. ll items must be returned in their entirety, meaning all items included must be returned together. No returns or exchanges on discontinued items. Please begin the return process by contacting the store or company where you bought your Real Flame item. Replacement Parts In the event that an item has been lost or damaged either by the manufacturer or in shipping you may request a replacement. Replacement parts are not available for all units and only given at Real Flame s discretion. We will assess any damage and find a solution, which could include ordering and shipping a replacement to you. No replacements are available for discontinued items or repackaged (open box) products.
