Connectivity Products Pre-terminated Cable Assemblies AFL manufactures a comprehensive range of high quality pre-terminated cable assemblies in our modern manufacturing facility in Melbourne. They can be made with a variety of connectors and cable types to produce virtually any combination. Our pre-terminated cables are ideal for harsh environments because they eliminate the need for difficult onsite termination and tooling. This makes installation easy and keeps the fibres protected. We have: Loose tube, riser, tactical deployable, breakout cables and plastic optical fibre (POF) High quality factory-terminated connectors Fibre protection products for installation and hauling Expanded Beam (EB) Technology AFL s expanded beam fibre optic connectors are designed to perform in the most demanding industrial environments. They are perfectly suited for the rigours of tactical military communications, outside broadcasts and petrochemical, mining and offshore systems. The EB technology ensures you receive reliable optical performance in contaminated and extreme environments. AFL is a certified manufacturer and repairer of EB connector assemblies. What are the benefits of EB technology? Resistant to dust, dirt and other contaminants Fibre is sealed and protected behind a lens Easily cleaned without risk of fibre damage Cable retention mechanism provides strength Hermaphroditic multi-channel connectors 2 www.aflglobal.com
