1. Safety precautions The instructions in this section relate to safety and the correct operation of the unit. The meaning of Symbols! WARNING: Fatal injuries could be resulted from the improper operation of the unit.! CAUTION: Safety issues and damages to the equipment could be resulted from the improper operation of the unit. Please read the labels and instruction manual before installing and operate the air conditioning unit. If there is abnormal noise; smell; smoke; high temperature; electricity short circuiting or fire found from the air conditioning unit, cut off the power immediately and contact the local distributors. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Contact local fire and emergency departments should you considered that is needed.! WARNING: Do not attempt to install this unit by yourself; it must be installed by authorized personnel or licensed installers. This unit has to be serviced by trained personnel. Any repairs carried out by untrained personnel could result in damaging the unit and void the warranty. Do not store flammable gas or liquid (paint gasoline) near the unit. Install the air-conditioning unit main switch out of the reach of children Do not pour water or liquid over the equipment Do not operate the unit with wet hands as it may cause electric shock If the unit is left unused for a long period of time, please turn off the power at the main switch. The unit has automatic startup while power on (Power on after power off, the unit will work base on the former mode), please pay attention to this function to avoid any accident happen. 3

! CAUTIONS Don't put hands and other objects into the inlet or outlet of the indoor and outdoor unit. The running fans could cause injury when touched. Keep the unit away from moisture, otherwise it may cause short circuiting and damage the unit. After cleaning the air filter, please take care to put it back correctly. 4

2. Press button again, represent minute of 88 flashing, press button to set the relative minute. Then press button, represent hour of 88 flashing, press buttong to set relative hour. After setting finish, it stays after 5 seconds, the setting of clock will exit automatically( CLOCK stop flashing).(clock is displayed as a 24-hour clock) 5

2.2.2 Quick start Press to start the unit. Operation mode section (can only be changed when the unit is running) Press M button to select the operation mode in order.: COOL( ) DEHUMIDIFY( ) FAN( ) HEAT( ) AUTO( ) Fan speed setting Press button, to set fan speed AUTO( ) LOW( ) MIDDLE ( ) HIGH( ). Room temperature setting Press button to set the room temperature, temperature setting range : 16-31 with 1 increment. Press To stop the unit when unit is running The display will be showing the current room temperature, time and the operation mode before the unit stop. There is a ±1.5 temperature difference between the actual return air temperature set and room temperature. 2.2.3 Operation mode settings (air-conditioning unit running) Press M button to set operation mode. The operation mode changes in order as below. AUTO COOL DEHUMIDIFY HEAT FAN Cooling mode Press M button until shows on display to select COOL mode. Press, button to set desire temperature. Press button to set fan speed. Dehumidifying Press M button until shows on the display to select dehumidify mode. The unit will carry out dehumidification according to the room temperature automatically. Note: In the dehumidify mode, the fan is set at slow speed only. The dehumidification process will stop when the indoor temperature is lower than 15 C 6

Heating mode Press M button till shows on display to select HEAT mode Press, button to set the desire temperature. Press button to set fan speed. Notes: Fan operation in HEAT mode When the unit is running in heating mode, the indoor fan may not start immediately to prevent blowing cold air to the conditioned space. There is a maximum time delay of 2 minutes before the indoor fan will start. The fan will start to run at low speed when started but will change to run at the user set speed when the indoor unit coil warms up. When the unit is switched off in heating mode, the indoor fan may still be running for a maximum of 1 minute to cool the residual heat before stopping. Fan mode Press M button until shows on display to select FAN mode. Press button to set fan speed. Auto mode Press M button to until shows on display to select AUTO mode. Enter mode, the unit will base on the following condition to select relative fan, cooling or heating mode automatically. T>25, cooling mode, 20 T 25, fan mode T<20, heating mode. Operation mode will change base on the return-air temperature. When the unit enters cooling or heating mode, the unit will run base on the setting temperature. 2.2.4 Timer operation a) To set the ON timer Continue to press button, till the display appears TIME ON with flashing, press button again, the display appears represent minute 88 with flashing, then press, button to set the required timing minute to turn on the unit. Press button again, the display appears represent hour 88 with flashing, press, button to set the required hour to turn on the unit. After finish setting, No requirement to press any button, TIME ON will not flashing after 6 seconds, that's completion for setting of timing turn on. After completion, the display will appear TIME ON and timing turn on time. 7

The unit begin running at the setting turn on time, if the user turn on the unit by hand before the timing setting, it will continue to operating till reach timing turn on time. After setting timing turn on, it will automatic turn on the unit everyday on the setting time. (memory of turn on) b) To cancel the ON timer There are two mothods of timing turn on cancellation 1.Continue to press button till the display appears TIME ON with flashing, then press button, the display 88:88 change to 00:00. Then press button to complete the cancellation of timing turn on setting. The display will not appear TIME ON and timing turn on time. 2.Continue to press button untill the display appears TIME ON with flashing, then press again, the display appears reprsent minute 88 ith flashing. Now press, button to set 00. Then press button again, the display appears represent hour of 88 with flashing. Now press, to set 00. After 6 seconds TIME ON flashing stop. Cancellation of turn on setting finished. The display will not appear TIME ON and timing turn on time. c) To set the OFF timer Continue to press untill the display appear TIME ON with flashing, then press button again, the display appears represent minute 88 with flashing. Now press, to set the desired minute of timing for turn off. Then press again, the display appears represent hour 88 with flashing. Now press, to set the desired hour of timing for turn off. After setting timing, it doesn't need to press any button, TIME OFF will not flash after 6 seconds, that means setting timing for turn off finished. After completion, the display appear TIME OFF and timing for turn off time. The unit will stop working on the setting turn off time,if the user turn off the unit by hand before the setting time, the unit will keep turn off while it's timing of turn off time. After setting timing for turn off, the unit will automatic turn off on the setting time(memory of turn off) d) To cancel the OFF timer Two methods of cancellation for turn off timing 1.Continue to press button, untill the display appears TIME OFF with flashing, press button, the disply 88:88 change to 00:00, then press again to finish cancellation of timming turn off setting. The display will not appear TIME OFF and timing turn off time. 8

2.Continue to press button untill the display appear TIME OFF with flashing, then press again, the display represent minute 88 with flashing. Now press, to set 00, then press,the display represent hour 88 with flashing. Now press ', to set 00. TIME OFF will not flash after 6 seconds, that's completion of cancel the timing of turn off. The display will not appear TIME OFF and timing turn off time. e) To use both ON timer and OFF timer together Following the above step a) and c) can set timing turn on and timing for turn off at the same time. f) Timing for turn on and turn off can be set under the unit on or off 2.4 Caution for using wired controller and remote controller Don't spill liquid over the controller. Don't put heavy article on the controller. 9

3. Operating tips Operating tips 1.Set a suitable room temperature. It is recommended to set a room temperature of 23-25 during summer and 20-22 on heating mode during winter. 2.Use curtains or shutters on the windows to block direct sunlight. Make sure all the doors and windows are closed when the air-conditioning unit is running. 3. Keep the return air outlet free of obstruction. 10

4. Care and maintenance! CAUTION! Before cleaning the unit, disconnect the power supply to the unit by switching off the power supply circuit breaker in the switch board. 4.1 Cleaning the air filter Dust accumulate on the air filter will reduce the air flow and eventually the efficiency and performance of the unit. Regular cleaning of the filter is recommended. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt from the air filter or rinse it under tap. After washing, dry it in a shaded place, then reinstall. When used for extended period of time, dust may accumulate in the evaporator coil, it is recommended the unit be inspected annually, in addition to your own cleaning and care. For more information, consult authorized service personnel.! Caution Do not spray insecticides or hair spray to the unit. That could cause serious danger to the unit. 4.2 Check condensate drain pipe for blockage. 4.3 When the error indication E0, E1 E7 or E8 is displayed, inspection of the air conditioning unit is necessary. Please call service for repair.! WARNING! Merely turning off the unit s power switch will not completely disconnect the unit from the power source. Always be sure to turn off the electrical circuit breaker to ensure that power is turned off.! Attention: For your protection the unit has a 3 minute delay timer. Therefor if you switch on the unit right after the unit has been turned off You will have to wait 3 minutes to restart This is function is to protect the components of the air conditioning unit. 11

5. After-sales service and Maintain After-sales service Repair should be carried out by authorized service personnel only otherwise the warranty will be voided. Relocation of the unit should be carried out by authorized service personnel only. Improper installation may cause fatal accident. Please provide the following details when a service is requested. Units model(from the nameplate or warranty card) Factory serial number (from the nameplate) Description of fault and E code displayed. Your name address and contact number Warranty This product has a 12 months warranty period. Please keep the warranty application sheet for future reference. 12
