Bosch Group Innovation as a principal Established in 1886 in Stuttgart, Germany, Robert Bosch Corporation has been characterised since our beginning by a passion for innovation and an incomparable enterprising spirit. From our start with Workshop Mechanics of Precision and Electronics in 1886 to one of the largest multinational industrial groups in the world today, we have travelled a long path with enthusiasm, technological innovation and a keen sense of social and ecological responsibility. Bosch is today the main European producer of gas water heaters and boilers, and is one of the international leaders in this sector as well, responsible for a large range of products delivered to the customer under various brands. Efficiency and renewable energies are one of its top priorities. 3
Our vision Pushing for renewable energy The problem When facing the problem of supplying hot water, customers have been, until now, forced to use non-renewable technical solutions, as gas heaters or electrical storage. Even with solar panels, a back-up would be needed requiring gas or inefficient electrical usage. The solution With Domestic Heat Pump Water Heater, it is now possible to heat up the water using thermal energy from the air. Although requiring electricity, it is considered renewable energy as it achieves efficiencies of up to 350%, with zero emissions Working principle The surrounding air is blown into the HP through a fan, changing the refrigerate liquid to gas, in the evaporator (1). It goes then to the compressor (2) and is heated up. In the condenser (3) the refrigerant transfers the energy to the water, and changes to liquid again. Then passes in the expansion valve (4) losing pressure and cooling down. 3 4 2 1 4
Benefits For end users Wishes Benefit Reason why Reduce energy bills and contribute to environmental sustainability Less 70 % energy consumption, compared with other DW systems HP technology with efficiency of 350% Main energy source: Air Compatible with solar systems Efficient consumption Availability of hot water Manual or Auto profile as per end-users operation, with custom requirements programs, allows the choice of hot water, as needed, when needed Hot water comfort and availability Reliable appliance Availability of hot water HP and backup heating element assuring hot water throughout the year 270l tank can provide >400l of water at 40ºC 5
Benefits For installers Wishes Benefit Reason why Easy installation Compatibility with existing faucets and hot water systems Minimal installation work Standard electric and hydraulic connections Appliance is factory ready for connection No refrigerant work on installation Easy maintenance and serviceability Low maintenance time Easy maintenance Accessible components through top ring No need to move or tilt appliance Use of standard tooling 6

Different technologies For different versions 1 2 Bosch offers different technologies for different models: monobloc and modular With monobloc the heat is transfer through refrigerant circulating around the tank (1) Modular uses a plate heat exchanger (refrigerant to water) in the top part (2) Monobloc Modular Monobloc advantages Less complexity and less components Lower material cost Lower total weight Higher water hardness resistance Modular advantages Flexibility of transport, handling and installation (see right picture; Lower refrigerant load; Tank and module available as spare part; Easier and faster serviceability and maintenance (no refrigerant expertise needed) 9
Adapting to your needs Advanced LCD interface Advanced LCD interface Possibility to select form 4 different function modes: eco / combi / boost / anti-legionella; Selection of operation periods allowing to select operation only during low tariff hours, for specific days of the week; Digital set of desired water temperature; Anti-frost protection; Consumption in kwh display. 10
Recovering your investment In 5 years only Savings of up to 70% enables to recover investment in only 5 years, compared to a normal electrical storage. Heat pump achieves this due to its 350% efficiency compared to 100% of a normal electrical storage (French market example) In Germany, due to more expensive electricity, payback in 3 years. 6,000 Accumulated Yearly Costs (EUR) 4,000 2,000 0 With 40% tax rebate, payback reduced to less than 2,5 years 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 HPWH 270l EWS 300l Assumptions French market example Installation cost included HPWH PVP: 3200 EUR Electric Storage PVP: 900 EUR Daily consumption : 290L Electricity cost: 0.129 kwh Years 11

Installation options Where shall we put it? Bosch Heat Pump enables different types of installation for different needs, where ventilation features can be used for own benefit; Cold-dry air leaving the unit is ideal as AC replacement dehumidifier for laundry rooms or wine cellars; or as a Inlet air can be used as extraction-fan for wet rooms, like kitchens and bathrooms. Not ducted installation Ideal for rooms higher than 20 m 3 or with windows available; Machinery rooms, garages or storage rooms. Ducted installation Ideal for rooms lower than 20 m 3 or with no windows available; Machinery rooms, garages or storage rooms. 13
Perfect fit Compatible with Solar, Boiler... Heat pump & solar Heat pump & boiler Two renewable s working together The best of to technologies HP can act as a solar backup, through an internal coil in the tank, stopping when solar is working Boiler acting as main backup to HP instead of electric back-up 14

Hot Water HP 270 ltr. Indoor Europe Launched With a COP of 3,5, the 270L model can supply up to 75% of free energy, representing a payback period of up to 5 years compared to an electrical water storage As so, releases up to 10 times fewer greenhouse gases than a system that runs on fossil energies - gas and fuel oil) It is compatible with solar and photovoltaic, and can also use a boiler or gas water heater as backup Its advanced LCD displaying enables to choose from 5 different modes, and also to programme its operation schedule. With a refrigerant circuit independent from the tank, it is possible to replace only the HP module or only the tank Technical features Available for Junkers/Buderus/Bosch 270L steel enameled tank +5/35ºC and -10/35ºC models available COP of 3,5* Advanced LCD with 5 operating modes available Ducting option for more comfort Solar coil available compatible with solar or boilers Solar, boiler and photovoltaic mode** Replaceable tank and heat pump module 270 ltr. 270 ltr.
