Technical Introduction Technical Excellence Fondital are addressing the global need for energy efficiency with our range of aluminium low water Content, low temperature, light weight modular radiators. European studies show that the installation of Aluminium radiators and a low temperature heat source such as a combination boiler or renewable heat source such as air source heat pumps often returns efficiency savings above that of the equivalent under floor design. The need for Low temperatures will mean that radiators will start to have to increase in physical size in order to overcome a loss in temperature around a property in the search for energy efficiency larger radiators come with the obvious disadvantages of heavier larger radiators which will present issues for handling and hanging not mention the additional amount of water in each radiator. The comparison table below clearly shows the difference between the both the water content and the weight of aluminium radiators in comparison to the steel equivalent.
