The beautiful landscape of this region sees the alternation of sandy and rocky coasts. It also consists predominantly of plains and there are a few hilly areas. The heel of Italy is also a region with a strong historical and artistic imprint, whose first human settlement dates back to 250,000 years ago. Puglia s artistic heritage is openly visible but also boasts many and prestigious museums and archeological sites. PORTFOLIO 15 La casa di Gioia La casa di Gioia is Apulian in all its essence. Surrounded by uncontaminated nature, it narrates Apulia by the details of its unique architecture. At the base of the restoration work on a building, built one hundred years ago, there is the desire to confirm the balance between man and nature. The restoration has fully preserved the volume and the facade of the buildings, trying to make the indoor space more comfortable and accessible to the needs of the new family who will live in it, while respecting the logical floor plan of the original structure.
