1. Our solutions Areas of application Mayser supplies non-touch safety systems and pressure-sensitive sensors for buses and trains. Our sensors stop dangerous movements of automatic doors. They also provide reliable anti-pinch and bumping protection as well as lower arm and drag detection also in case of fire. Our surface sensors such as safety steps with extension protection provide additional safety. Included in our range are solutions for: External swing doors Internal swing doors Swing sliding doors Transponder-based signal transmission system Safety edges with safety elements The pressure-sensitive finger protection profiles on the doors contain integrated safety elements. They react to even very small objects by stopping the closing movement of the door. Non-touch detection system Finger protection profiles integrated in the main closing edge react without contact to persons in the immediate critical area of the sensor. They prevent pinching and bumping. The transponder-based wireless signal transmission system from Mayser is an interference-free, maintenance-free system for signal transmission on vehicle doors. Surface sensors Large-surface safeguards for the entry and exit areas of buses and trains provide sensitive surfaces for extending steps such as wheelchair ramps and power steps. 2. Safety edges with safety elements Safety edges with safety elements react to even very small objects by stopping the closing movement of the door. The door stops before any injuries can occur. 3. Non-touch detection system Our non-touch detection system is a non-contact obstacle detection system for bus and train doors that works on the basis of a capacitive sensor. If a passenger approaches the active zone of the sensor, its electrical field changes. The control unit evaluates this information and transmits it to the door control system. The non-touch detection system is a convenience function integrated in the Mayser finger protection profile. Suitable for new constructions and retrofitting.
