eggboard, acoustic lamp (2014)
detail Suspension appliance with sound-absorbing properties ensured by a peculiar sinusoidal crosssection design of the lower surface and the use of a sound-absorbing material. Acoustic efficiency is ensured within a limited space by positioning at approximately one meter above the head of the speaker and listener. Direct emission: a board with a high number of low-voltage LEDs with rotosymmetrical reflectors ensures maximum lighting comfort. Color temperature 3000K or 4000 K. Complies with the norms on office activities that involve the use of video-terminals. eggboard intallation at eataly in muchen, germany
classe 11, professional espresso machine (2013)
back view front view Design is important, not only for the person looking at the machine, but also for the person using it. The elegant sides and dynamic contours of Classe 11 suggest a brawny physique with a strong personality. The back of the machine was also designed with the same degree of attention and with a considerable investment in the quality of the materials used, such as stainless steel, as well as in the technical lighting. The consistency and attention to detail are confirmed by the automotive-style extractor on the back and strong rear feet designed to emphasize the robustness of the machine. The functional control knobs and side view
panel detail steam wands (covered with a chrome-plated ring that matches the cast metal alloy and matt black shockproof thermoplastic groupcovers) stand out against a chrome-plated grid. The groupcovers are asymmetrically shaped to make this area efficient and functional. The working area, made of stainless steel, is designed to ensure maximum cleanliness and features side bumpers, a real Rancilio trademark. The solidity and elegance of Classe 11 ensure its great appeal, making it a landmark feature wherever it is installed. in use view

self-production furniture line (2016)
composition The armchair connects the linearity of a pure volume with the soft shapes of the seat enclosed in it. The metallic structure accommodates the seat made with handmade natural leather, giving it a line that guarantees the maximum comfort. front view Self-production furniture line commercialized by BKF Original. Armchair, table and pendant lamp can be found at the following link: http://bkforiginal.com/web/originals/. The whole object is handcrafted in Milan, fully following the qualitative standards associated with Made in Italy. side view

detail The nine pendant lamp modules break up and indent the volume that generates them. A metal frame box creates the module. They are aligned from the top face, every one of them suspend inside the lighting component at a different height creating a raining effect that moves a very linear system. ambient view single module as floor lamp

terrace display Its soft and embracing line is reinterpreted with a contemporary accent, making it perfect to furnish outdoor spaces and informal indoor areas with simplicity and timeless elegance. Proof of its versatility is the possibility to supply this chair with or without armrests, assembled on different types of supports, and matched with other elements that are part of the line. seating shell The metal tubular structure of this chair, with a single-piece polypropylene shell, is reminiscent of the harmonious Viennese style of the late nineteenth century curves. presentation at salone del mobile 2016
stand up t-leg, height adjustable desk (2015)
different colors and heights the effect of two adjacent tubular elements, giving the product its stylistic appearance. New concept of electric height adjustment for the desk using a telescopic system. Total absence of electrical wires: the system runs on battery power. leg detail T leg is a system of minimal design desks, European patented, which reduces the impact of the structural elements supporting the worktops. The inverted T leg recalls the concept of desks in the 80s-90s, revised in a modern key and in the light of new steel processing technologies. The vertical upright of the leg has a longitudinal rib, which reproduces Stylistic consistency with standard fixed height leg. The system complies with European standard En 527 for the use of workstations when sitting and standing, with height travel of an impressing 68 cm (height range from 62.5 cm to 128.5 cm), maintaining stability and robustness. seated use

offices renovation, monza italy (2015)
wall graphics The renovation of the Italian Adidas Group headquarters concept is based on the idea of the three stripes characterizing the main brand logo, running together along the building to create paths, informal meeting and service spaces. The dynamism brought by the black lines cooperates with a large use of graphics materials. Every informal meeting area presents a spot of a sport theme flooring and an athlete practicing that sport on the glass wall that separates the area from the operative open space. informal meeting and open space
break area and shadings thanks to their dimensions and frequency. The open space area is an all-white approach, some laminar wood sidewalls warm the environment and blue spots (Adidas original color) give the brand place in the office. Circulation is identified by a gray color that runs with the three stripes in the central part of the building. entrance hall waiting area and video wall In order to keep the whole office space as open and without boundaries as possible, the only material used to separate different areas (with the exception of some private areas that must be separate from the others) is glass. The graphics used on these transparent walls is see through, made by circular pixels that create different shapes After the initial ideation phase, my main involvement in the project was creating all the graphics, choosing finishing and furniture and producing rendering and images to present the work to the client. pavement graphics and phonebooth
new offices, milano italy (2015)
corridor I took part in the latest part of the renovation of ING Direct Milan headquarters. I took care of some specific areas: the common areas on the ground floor such as the reception, corridor, training rooms and cafeteria; meeting room at operative floors and lift landing space. The reception presents a double height space on the right and a normal one to the left. We introduced a tree in the higher part and a big 3D ING logo e some pendant decorative lamps, while the left part becomes a waiting area. The corridor is treated to make it an exposition site. On the left side we can find a succession of small spaces obtained with a wall with different orientations. These spaces are filled with expositive panels hanging on the wall designed for the occasion. On the right side of the corridor, we have a glass wall that separates train and conference room. We wanted the cafeteria to look like a domestic place, a space that reception area
cafeteria counter The meeting rooms at the operative floors are eclectic spaces, they can be used as operative workstations or as meeting rooms. Computer screens can be moved in order to serve both accommodations and an orange trapezoid pavement gives the room an ING feeling. operative floor plan utilized by the employees but it also hosts visitors and clients so it had to be a place where people feel welcomed. Therefore we used warm materials, we placed wood and white side by side, we put libraries and divided a very large space using benches and big tables to make it feel like a more intimate environment. cafeteria
glenview 5 star hotel at chengdu, china (2015)
waiting area render A big artistic installation in the entrance hall is a tribute to the water that characterizes the whole geographic area. It is in front of the entrance pairing with the two reception desks. On the left of the hall we can find a lounge area served by a bar while on the other side from the entrance hosts the elevators hall. entrance view render In the project for the new Glenview 5 star Hotel in Chengdu, China my focus was on the common spaces. The design brings some traditional elements from the old Chengdu area into a contemporary luxury space. Patterns, materials, objects and images coming from the past give the space a sense of belonging to the territory. ground floor plan
restaurant plan The buffet restaurant is designed in order to be reconfigured depending on the uses and type of consumers. It presents the buffet tables on the longer side of the room and a show kitchen on the small one. The lighting for this space is created not to limit the configurability, but to promote it giving many point lights the role of creating a warm and intimate feeling to each table wherever it is positioned. restaurant render
cigar bar render Furniture and finishing are the same in both spaces, a strong pavement combined to a lighter wall and a 3d ceiling with a selection of very comfortable seating. executive lounge render The executive lounge and the cigar bar are part of the same space, so they share the same design. In the executive lounge a sort of snake skin-like see-through treatment is used to characterize the partitions that divide the large space into more intimate ones. The same treatment is used for the cigar bar back wall. executive lounge and cigar bar plan
