Zoffany launches three elegant collections re-interpreting classic designs in an innovative & contemporary way. complementing each other in soft colour palettes of neutral & mineral tones, they create elegant & sophisticated schemes. SUMMER COURT This collection takes historical damask and jacquard weaves from the Zoffany archive and transforms them into richly contemporary designs woven and embroidered on a range of qualities. The result is a sumptuous mix of silk, linen, velvet and Trevira CS in a subtle colour palette. POESY WALLPAPERS The papers in this collection were reproduced or adapted from Zoffany s rare collection of 17 th and 18 th century Domino Papers. C YMBELINE VELVETS Whilst contemporary in style, the two abstract velvet designs in this collection are based on archive reference and are coloured in subtle shades which complement the Poesy wallpapers and Summer court damasks. Gossamer (left & right) This design is based on the wallpaper of the same name and is adapted in a larger scale from Zoffany s classic Brocatello. Linen, viscose & silk yarns give lustre and texture to this fabric. Roset te Trellis (above right) is from an Italian paper dating to 1760; the original was used to line a keepsake box. Palm Tree (below right) The tree pattern has been adapted from an image on an early 18 th century French Domino Paper and is printed on a jaspé ground. Ocelot velvet (left) is a timeless design which works well in both contemporary and classic interiors.
