All wet spots should be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration. The sink and faucet should be wiped clean with a cloth damped in water or a nonabrasive detergent. The sink is resistant to most chemicals, except for strong acids and strong alkalis. Never use scouring powder, steel wool, or a detergent that is abrasive. SAFETY Furniture must be secured to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of hardware. Use hardware (sold separately) suitable for the walls in your home. With LILLÅNGEN series you can make use of every square inch of your bathroom. Start planning your bathroom by thinking about the wall space you have available for a sink cabinet and sink, since this is the center of most bathroom activities. The LILLÅNGEN series includes sink cabinets of different sizes and storage capacities. LILLÅNGEN series is flexible so you can mix-and-match your sink cabinet together with open shelves. You can either have the sink cabinet as a combination of a full cabinet or in combination with open shelf end units for more accessible storage. After you have decided on the size and storage capacity of the sink cabinet, you can choose between white or blackbrown finishes. 2. The LILLÅNGEN sinks have a clever ledge where you can keep your most necessary items close at hand. The deep sinks come with matching accessories such as a soap dish, towel hooks, and tray, and the shallow version comes with towel hooks. Be aware that the sink can be up to ¾" wider than the sink cabinet to protect from water leakage. LILLÅNGEN sinks are made of ceramic. Ceramic sinks have a glazed finish and are easy to clean. They have excellent scratch resistance and are very durable. All sinks come with a water trap and strainer. 3. You can find a wide selection of bathroom faucets at IKEA. Choose your faucet based on function and design. All faucets come with a strainer kit, with the exception of OLSKÄR. All bathroom faucets at IKEA are cover by a -year limited warranty. All faucets at IKEA have a water-saving device that uses 50% less water but ensures that the water flow feels the same. GRANSKÄR, DANNSKÄR, DALSKÄR and ENSEN faucets have a special function: a cold water start that helps you save energy. Usually, you turn on an ordinary faucet by lifting the lever straight up in the center position, which releases both cold and hot water. Often the hot water isn t necessary, or hasn t had sufficient time to reach the faucet. When you lift the lever straight up on a faucet with a cold water start function, only cold water is released, which reduces any waste of hot water. To release the hot water, you lift the lever to the left. 4. The sink cabinets can be mounted to the wall with or without supporting legs. If you decide to use supporting legs, make sure you choose the correct combination of legs. 15" deep cabinets need the 4-pack of LILLÅNGEN legs, 9⅞" deep (shallow) cabinets require one 2-pack of legs. The legs are sold separately. 5. Now it s time for you to choose what to put above and around your sink: mirror, mirror cabinet, high cabinet, high cabinet with mirror door, wall cabinet. To ensure that all our bathroom faucets comply with our strict standards for quality and durability they are all carefully tested and approved by an independent institute. This means we can offer you a -year limited warranty that covers all bathroom faucets at IKEA against defects in material and workmanship. What is covered under this limited warranty? The -year limited warranty is valid for all bathroom faucets at IKEA. This limited warranty applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in all bathroom faucets. Our faucets are tested well beyond all relevant international standards and we use only top brand components to secure our -year limited warranty. What is not covered under this limited warranty? This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts, accidents or waterborne debris. It also does not apply to the filter/aerator which should be cleaned regularly or replaced when worn out. Follow our assembly and care instructions carefully. This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, assembled or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. This limited warranty does not apply if the products have been used for public use, outdoors, or in a corrosive environment. It also does not cover accidental damage. For customers in the US only: some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. What will IKEA do to correct the problem? IKEA will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, IKEA through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this limited warranty, IKEA will pay the costs of replacing it, labor and travel for staff, that IKEA incur, provided that the product is accessible for replacement without special expenditure. This does not apply to any work not authorized by IKEA. Replaced faucet becomes the property of IKEA. If the item is no longer sold by IKEA, IKEA will provide an appropriate replacement. It is IKEA that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement. Care instructions Let water run through the bathroom faucet before using it for the first time. Screw off the filter/aerator and run water through it for about 5 minutes. Then screw it back on again. For daily cleaning of your bathroom faucet, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent or soap, if necessary. Never use scouring powder, steel wool or a detergent that is calcium-dissolving, a strong acid or alkali, or contains alcohol or an abrasive. Rinse with water and dry/polish with a clean dry cloth. To remove calcium deposits, use ordinary white vinegar diluted in water and rinse with plain water. At IKEA, we recommend removing the filter/aerator on the bathroom faucet and cleaning it now and then. If the filter/ aerator has a build-up of calcium, wash it in a vinegar solution. Read more in the care and advice instruction that comes with the product. Certification Certain countries have introduced statutory requirements for the approval and certification of bathroom faucets. Our faucets have been approved and certified to meet the relevant demands in every market. The certification reference is stated on the on the assembly instructions that are supplied in the faucet packaging. How country, provincial, and state law applies This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and is in addition to your statutory legal rights.
